  My wife and I just had the best experience purchasing a used vehicle with the help of Ellen Ackerman at Jim Xamis Ford Lincoln. It started with me finding the vehicle online and checking to see if it was still available. Almost immediately, I received a reply from Ellen. Since I lived 180 miles from the dealership, I had many questions. Ellen was very courteous and knowledgeable and answered every question which made our decision that much easier to make. She also assisted with a very fair offer for our trade in. She fully understood our time and travel situation and never stopped being professional. When we finally came to the dealership to inspect the vehicle and finalize the paperwork, everything was "ready to go" just as we had asked. The wonderful parting gift of the roses for my wife was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Thank you Ellen and to everyone who helped us at Jim Xamis Ford Lincoln.

  Would definitely recommend Jim Xamis over any Ford dealer in Springfield. Well worth the 30 minutes drive.

  I have now purchased my 3rd Ford Edge from the Jim Xamis family. It took a little over a month to find exactly what I wanted, but they came through and I have the perfect car for me. The staff are so accommodating and go above and beyond to assist, to make you feel welcome, and to work with you to find exactly what you want. Matthew and Ed are two of the best people to work with and I couldn’t be more thankful for their help in finding the right vehicle for me. The whole team makes the experience fun & worthwhile. I love my car.

  I do not recommend taking your vehicle here for repair. The customer service was terrible. I had to call them to find out anything going on. Was supposed to take 4 days to get a transmission delivered and 2 days to swap it out. Took 3 weeks to get the transmission and no one cared to find out what was taking so long. Once it came in the repair could not be done because the technician had to go to class for 2 days so I had to wait even longer. The technician took 4 days to do a 14 hour job and when I called for the third time for an update they informed me that the transfer case does not work. It worked when they drove my vehicle into the bay, but after taking it off to swap out the transmission it all of a sudden does not work now. They wanted me to pay another $4000 for a part that worked before they took it off. I paid for a diagnostic, but when I asked for the print out of what was tested and the results, they did not provide one even though that's part of what I paid for. Had it towed to another place because this service department seems shady. Zero proof that my transmission actually needed replaced and zero proof that the transfer case was faulty before they took it off and put it back on. Will never go here for anything and I highly recommend no one else does either.
