Had such a great experience with Suds Detailing! They did a ceramic window tint on my car and it looks amazing. I was already excited about how much better it made my car look, but I’m even more impressed by the difference in temperature inside my car. You can seriously feel how much heat the tint keeps out!!

Jayce and Katie are a great time! They do timely, fast, meticulous and high quality work! Whatever your needs for a new car/truck, or older model, tinting or just a total clean, wash and shine, they will exceed your expectations! A bonus, there is a great bourbon store next door, The Bottle Shop, in Lebanon. Check out Sud's Detailing online and let your ride shine!

We bought a used car with an awful cigarette smell from the previous owner. They did an insanely good job of removing the odor. I will definitely be coming back for more services.
Absolutely. Ceramic coating stands as one of the most effective methods for protecting your vehicle's paint and maintaining that newer appearance over time. A professionally applied ceramic coating forms a durable protective barrier that repels water, dirt, road grime, UV rays, and various contaminants. It enhances the gloss and simplifies the washing process. Though it requires a higher initial investment compared to wax, many vehicle owners throughout O'Fallon, Belleville, and Fairview Heights opt for ceramic coating because it delivers years of protection and minimizes long-term maintenance requirements.
How long does ceramic coating last?
The durability of ceramic coating varies based on the product quality, how well the vehicle is maintained, and the driving conditions it encounters. Professional-grade ceramic coatings generally last between 3 and 10 years. Consistent maintenance washes and appropriate care extend the coating's effectiveness and longevity. Vehicles regularly exposed to severe weather, road salt, and frequent use throughout Southern Illinois gain considerable advantages from ceramic protection.
Does ceramic coating prevent scratches and rock chips?
Ceramic coating offers resistance against light surface marring and minor swirl marks, but it doesn't make your vehicle completely scratch-proof or shield it from rock chips. The main function of ceramic coating is to defend against contaminants, oxidation, and UV damage while making your vehicle simpler to clean. For protection against rock chips, Paint Protection Film (PPF) is typically the recommended option.
What's the difference between ceramic coating and wax?
Wax remains on your vehicle's surface and usually lasts from a few weeks to several months. Ceramic coating creates a chemical bond with the paint, delivering substantially longer-lasting protection, enhanced gloss, and superior water-repelling characteristics. While wax needs regular reapplication, professional ceramic coatings can safeguard your vehicle for years when properly maintained.
Is window tint legal in Illinois?
Yes, window tint is permitted in Illinois, though state regulations specify how dark the tint may be on particular windows. The legal limits differ based on vehicle type and window position. Professional installation ensures your vehicle complies with Illinois tint regulations while still delivering heat reduction, glare control, UV protection, and privacy. Vehicle owners should always confirm current state requirements before choosing a tint percentage.
Does window tint reduce heat inside my vehicle?
Certainly. Quality window tint, particularly ceramic window tint, can substantially decrease interior heat by blocking solar energy and harmful UV rays. This keeps your vehicle cooler throughout hot Illinois summers, enhances comfort, minimizes glare, and can help preserve your interior from fading over time. Ceramic tint provides the highest level of heat protection without disrupting phone, GPS, or radio signals.
How long does window tint last?
The longevity of window tint depends on the film quality and the installation process. High-quality ceramic and carbon window films can last throughout the vehicle's lifetime. Proper installation by a skilled professional prevents bubbling, peeling, fading, and discoloration over time.
What is the best window tint for heat protection?
Ceramic window tint is widely regarded as the superior choice for heat protection and UV protection. Unlike conventional dyed films, ceramic tint employs advanced technology to block heat while preserving visibility and signal clarity. Many drivers throughout O'Fallon and the surrounding Metro East communities select ceramic tint to enhance driving comfort and lower interior temperatures during summer months.
What's included in a full auto detail?
A full auto detail generally includes a thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior surfaces of the vehicle. Services commonly include exterior hand washing, wheel cleaning, bug removal, paint decontamination, interior vacuuming, dashboard cleaning, window cleaning, carpet treatment, and dressing of interior surfaces. Professional detailing extends well beyond a standard car wash and helps preserve your vehicle's appearance and value.
How often should I have my vehicle detailed?
Most vehicles benefit from professional detailing every 3 to 6 months. However, vehicles subjected to regular commuting, pets, children, road salt, or outdoor parking may require more frequent service. Regular detailing protects your investment, maintains appearance, and keeps your vehicle cleaner year-round. In Southern Illinois, seasonal detailing before and after winter proves especially advantageous.
