I have been using this dealership for many years. The service department is the reason I purchased my second vehicle from them. Rarely have I waited longer than the estimated time the service would take. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable.

I’ve had a great experience at Fields Lexus in Glenview. Salesman Keith Tennyson was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. The support staff made things easy as well. And the cars, of course, are the best!

I had a negative experience with my first visit at the Fields Lexus service center today. Because their website states a "child-friendly waiting area" among their waiting room amenities, I brought my young children (including newborn) with me. I was surprised that there was nothing child-friendly about their only waiting area. Additionally, the facility did not have a lactation/mother's room, or any area that had privacy that could be used for this purpose. If I decide to get service here again, I'll be sure to come without kids and I'd recommend other parents do the same unless changes are implemented.

We came into the dealership to shop for a used Lexus NS 350. We were even OK with paying sticker price. One of the concerns we had was if the headlights were bright enough for us at night. When speaking with the dealer on the phone earlier in the day, they told me they could pull it into a service lane so we could check.
When we got to the dealer, our salesman, Enrique, told us that the service lanes were blocked by used cars which "they didn't know where the keys for them were. Well, as you can see by the photos, this was a blatant lie. When we asked about putting a deposit down on the car to see how it would drive overnight, since the car lanes were "blocked" this was also not possible. Something several car dealers had done for me in the past.
We also inquired about what mailing fees of $68.00 were in addition to documentation fees. They told us they did not know what specifically was being mailed or why it would cost that much in addition to the dealer documentation fee.
I also asked when they looked to scan my license, how long my data would be stored for. They said "They didn't know" when I looked at Paladin fraud fighter SOC report, it stated that each client of theirs chooses how long they keep information. The dealership staff refused to provide this important answer to data privacy.
Overall, I am very disappointed at the staff and treatment of Fields Lexus.
It took forever for me to write this review because I freaking lost the name of the contact I wanted to shout out. BUT! I recently found it. So Marvin, this is for YOU!
My dad recently had a little situation which ended up giving the front of his car some scratches and undesirable skid marks. We paid for the cilajet service so I told my dad we’d go try to get it buffed out. My dad was skeptical, but I knew most of the exterior concerns were about the color more than the deep scratches. Marvin was the associate who helped us when we arrived and I could tell he was skeptical too but I pushed and said and I know they can’t fix the car but we just want it buffed and re-coated in cilajet. Though Marvin was concerned I wasn’t going to get what I was picturing in my head, I assured him I’m a realist and that I knew what I was in for. I feel like if it had been another associate, there would have been some verbal tension but Marvin was very respectful and said he understood we paid extra for the service and that I was firm on knowing this wouldn’t fix the bigger damages, so he would ask the service team to just do their best. This is real customer service. Listening to the customer’s concern, providing feedback, but then actually comprehending the ultimate request and need.
Marvin must have known the Midas of Lexus servicing though cause OMG when my dad and I were walked back to the car by Marvin once the service was completed, it seemed brand new. Successful beyond my expectations. He still made a point to let me know the areas they couldn’t “fix” since those were not minor cosmetic issues but I knew those were things they couldn’t help on. Of course, I understood he had to tell me to cover themselves, but I appreciated that he actually tried to fulfill my request instead of turning me away. People are always afraid to purchase the upgrades because it won’t be needed, “worth it”, or even worse— that the provider won’t follow through. However, I’m here to tell you, it is totally worth it here and they do listen to the requests/needs here. Thank you so much Marvin for listening and believing me. This is why my parents and I all have Lexus’.
