    If we could leave negative stars, I would. One of the absolute worst business models and exasperating customer service in the industry. Don't bother making a reservation; they are basically fake. They allow a huge amount of reservations and leave basically no room for their car turnover time. IF you are actually able to secure a car, get ready to sit in their tiny building for hours while they're "getting it ready". I feel bad for the dudes working the desk, it has to be rough coming in to work for a company that has 100% set you up to fail. Genuinely hope he's able to find employment somewhere that values customers and doesn't force their workers to have to deal with daily frustration. Anyway, save your time and sanity, rent from Nissan instead!

    Enterprise Galesburg, Illinois Cain was attentive, professional, and accommodating. The car was clean and ran well. Jessica did excellent job adjusting scheduling for me. This was a positive experience that will cause me to refer friends. A year ago my rental experience was a mess! So great improvements were made. Well done!!

    Zach was great! He thoroughly explained that my rental vehicle would be ready soon, but there might be a slight delay due to an oil change. He and another employee, a woman with glasses named Jessica, were both incredibly empathetic, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. Zach also took the time to listen to me regarding a previous rental issue I had experienced and went above and beyond by providing an additional 10% discount on my rental total. That level of customer service is exactly what keeps customers like me coming back and recommending your company to others. I choose Enterprise Rent-A-Car whenever I travel, whether I’m here in Illinois or in another state. They have consistently provided great service, and this experience was no exception. Zach and Jessica deserve recognition for the outstanding job they do. I will continue bringing my business to Enterprise and spreading the word to others and I can assure you that many of them will see my recommendation. Thank you again to the team at Enterprise in Galesburg for always coming through. Outstanding customer service is hard to find, and employees like Zach and Jessica make all the difference!

    I am very disappointed with my experience at Enterprise in Galesburg. We had a vehicle reserved for pickup at 12:00 p.m. before leaving for a family getaway. At 11:20 a.m., we received a phone call informing us that the vehicle was delayed. When I arrived at the Galesburg location, I was told the vehicle was not there and was supposedly being transported from the Peoria office. The employee estimated it would arrive in about 45 minutes and assured me that I would receive a phone call when it was ready. At 1:30 p.m., after not hearing anything, I called the Galesburg location. Someone from the Macomb office answered and assured me that a representative from Galesburg would return my call. After waiting another 15 minutes with no response, my husband called and was again told that someone would contact us when the vehicle was available. Unfortunately, that phone call never came. More than 30 hours later, we still have not received any communication from the Galesburg office. Instead, I spent a significant amount of time repeatedly calling for updates, only to be met with vague answers and no clear information about when the vehicle would be available. We had to make alternate plans. The lack of communication and follow-through was extremely frustrating. It caused a major delay to the start of our family getaway and created unnecessary stress during what should have been an enjoyable weekend.

When we arrived, we were told the vehicle was not there and was supposedly being brought from the Peoria location. The employee informed us it should arrive between 12:30 and 1:00 PM and assured us that she would call when it was ready. Unfortunately, that phone call never came. Instead, I spent a significant amount of time repeatedly calling the Galesburg location trying to get updates, but no one could provide any information about when the vehicle would actually be available. This caused a major delay to our vacation plans and created unnecessary stress. The only positive part of this experience was a gentleman at another Enterprise location in Peoria. He was extremely helpful, took the time to investigate the situation, contacted the Peoria branch for information, and genuinely seemed interested in helping us find a solution so we could get on the road. His customer service was excellent and stood in stark contrast to the lack of communication we received from the Galesburg location. Overall, I am frustrated by the poor communication, lack of follow-through, and the inconvenience this caused. If a vehicle is not available at the reserved pickup time, customers deserve honest communication and timely updates. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
