    Excellent service of my Mazda CX 50 experience from start to finish! My service advisor, Kathrine W., was fantastic, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help resolve a minor paint issue on my door handle. I truly appreciate the great customer service and would gladly return for future service.

    I had a great experience at this dealership! The guys here were super friendly, made the entire process easy, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. There was never any pressure, and they took the time to answer all of my questions. Jonathan Danial in Finance was outstanding, professional, knowledgeable, and made the financing process smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated the excellent customer service and would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience!

    My experience started with a notification in the mail about a warranty issue with the brakes for our new Cx-90. An appointment was made a few days out for the service and a needed oil change. I dropped off my vehicle at about 12:10pm on a Friday for service. They told me initially over the phone it was estimated 3-4 hrs for the visit, when I arrived I was told it could last at least 5 hrs so I got a loaner. I waited in the waiting room for a little over 30 mins to get checked out with the loaner vehicle. Fast forward a few hours later and I had no follow up or response from the dealership. I sent a text message through their service and waited over an hour for a response. I was told that the “recall service “ could not be performed on my vehicle because my VIN wasn’t included in this batch. I made the appointment days prior , they had all my info including VIN number so why wasn’t this brought to my attention sooner? I finally get a call back from the service dept. (Yesenia G.) and at this point it has been a little over four hours they have had my vehicle. She proceeds to explain to me how they were just made aware of the “stages” of this issue and nobody knew sooner. I had received the letter in the mail regarding this issue over a month prior. She tells me my vehicle is “cleaned and ready for pick up” . At the point of me picking up my vehicle , they have had my car for almost 5 hours and I am told it’s “cleaned up” and waiting for me outside. When I get to my car it is obvious that it has not been cleaned, the same bird poop is on my car , spots on the hood ( I have attached photos although they don’t do it justice). I immediately called back and got no answer , left a voicemail requesting a call from a manger or supervisor regarding the five hour turn around for an oil change and I can’t even get a car wash after spending in the neighborhood of $50K for a vehicle. Epic fail on your part Autobarn Mazda of Evanston , epic fail ! I have unfortunately purchased a few vehicles from you in the past but this will absolutely be the last . It is now 9:45 pm and still no contact from them in regards to me 12:00pm visit . Terrible customer service , no follow through and I would expect a fairly good detail of a vehicle they had five hours to work on.

    I had my 2018 CX5 services at The Autobarn several times and they always do a very thorough review of my car. I purchased the car from them. They text a video of the work needed and allow me to choose what I want done and allow me to ask questions. My service writer of 6/11 and 6/5,2026, Katy Wishnoff was very attentive and kept me advised of the status of my care repairs. If there is a delay she let me know why and the expected turnaround time. She was willing to get me any questions I had answered from the actual mechanic. I told her it might be appropriate sometimes to actually meet and talk to the mechanic and she said she could assist me next time if I needed to do so. Always a great experience.
