    When confirming a vehicle the site should state that you will be notified the day prior for a phone confirmation. I experienced it myself and watch several customers come in thinking they confirmed their rental only to be told that the vehicle was not available if you didn’t confirm via phone the day before. Whats the point of having a confirmation? They should not be able to book beyond what they carry in their lot. Also, the person who attended me seems to have a problem with the treatment he gave to minorities in comparison to whites. That was my experience when receiving my vehicle and returning it. Even though I was there first he would go out of his way to attend to other customers and make me wait. Also, they need more help. I was there for a long time to drop off and receive my vehicle. Further more, I rented a luxury car and he told me it was okay to put 87 gas in the tank. Something didn’t feel right and after research it required premium gas. He was also concerned about the deductible of my insurance. Made me feel like he wanted me to mess up the car so that I would be responsible for it. I love enterprise but I will never use the Evanston location again. Also held 2K deposit on the vehicle I didn’t want. All of the requirements should be outlined when you’re booking the vehicle. The car that was offered was not a large Luxury SUV even though he billed it out for that and was subpar for the occasion with class and cleanliness. I regret that I had to settle due to time constraints and what was available.

    GREAT experience on multiple different occasions renting with them. Chris (?) an assistant manager there was fantastic with my rental the other day. Definitely have and will continue to rent with them.

    My friends and I went on a weekend trip using a rental car from this Enterprise. Two hours into the drive, the car broke down completely while we were still far out from our destination. Enterprise said they would send someone for us but left us waiting on the side of the road for FOUR hours without ever sending anyone. We eventually had a friend who was able to come pick us up and take us to our destination, but this ruined both our friend's and our vacation day. Enterprise agreed to send a car to our Airbnb, during this time but when we called back a few hours later they denied that promise. They tried to get us to DRIVE three hours to an airport to pick one up! But we had no car! The next morning, then they sent us an hour an a half to another airport to pick up a car, which we had to get a friend to drive me to, but then they HADN'T CALLED the airport and the airport had no cars for us! Our whole weekend away was basically up at this point, and they finally agreed to call us a Lyft to get us back home from my trip. But, they would only pay for HALF of the Lyft costs! Despite them being the reason we were stranded in the first place! This whole experience was frustrating and consumed our entire weekend away. They were consistently unhelpful, making us run in circles to fix the problem they created. Now we are down the cost of the Lyft and our friend had to drive several extra hours and put extra miles on his car to help us through this situation. This is unacceptable, and no business should treat customers this way. I will NEVER be using an Enterprise ever again.

    Would give 0 stars if I could. Enterprise ruined a weekend trip! We rented a car from Enterprise for a weekend trip on Saturday 4/25. Two hours into our drive, the car started malfunctioning - we were on the highway and the car started shaking and unable to accelerate over 15 mph. This was terrifying and life-threatening given we were on the highway!! We called the office, but they had closed by 1pm on a Saturday. Hours later, roadside assistance finally told us that a replacement car would be sent to our airbnb in 4-6 hours. Later they denied this and said I had to drive 3 hours away in the night despite mentioning I did not have a car with me. The next morning, we learned that the replacement car was ordered for an airport 90 minutes away from our airbnb. Then, when we got to the airport that was 90 minutes away, they told us that they had never received an order for any replacement car, so they didn't have a car for us. We wasted hours of our time waiting and driving back and forth pointlessly for a replacement car that never came. Now we're out hundreds of dollars and our entire weekend of activities was ruined. Also, the attitude of the team was poor throughout - they did not care about what happened and denied promises they had made just hours before. Never going to rent from this business ever again.

    My friend rented a car from this location for a weekend trip - never again. The car started going 15mph on the highway, so he had to pull over and call for help. They left him stranded for 3 hours, promised to send a car to his location, then DENIED ever having said so. The next morning they told him to go to an airport 1.5 hours away to pick up a new car but refused to pay for his travel there. When he arrived, there was NO CAR for him. This location offered to send him home on a Lyft but only paid for 50 miles of it and made him pay the rest! Absolutely unacceptable behavior.
