  Efficient Service & Expert Help at AutoZone Evanston My Lexus LX570 was a bit 'grumpy' this morning and refused to crank properly. After a quick charge with my NOCO jump starter, I noticed greenish corrosion on the positive terminal — likely hydrated copper sulfate — which was preventing a proper charge. It was clearly time for a replacement. I called the AutoZone on Dodge Ave to check their stock. They had a fitting battery ready, and when I arrived 10 minutes later, the team was already waiting for me. They confirmed the battery was indeed bad. Because we don’t drive the car often and it recently sat without a trickle charger during a move, I opted for a gel battery. Its resistance to deep discharge and freezing winters is exactly what this vehicle needs for our local climate. The team was professional, highly efficient, and great to chat with. Truly impressed—what else can you ask for? I am impressed.

  Needed some leather wipes for my car. Walked in, was greeted right away, found what I was looking for, checked out, was asked if I needed any help & if I found everything okay. I'm glad I gave them my business instead of the Advance Auto parts store I went to on Skokie BLVD in Skokie.
