  Ashley and Ron were so helpful in getting my daughter’s car set up with a backup camera and apple CarPlay. They were up front with very fair pricing and got an appointment set right away. I will highly recommend ABC in the future!

  Took a brand new pathfinder there and the gentleman that was gonna install everything wanted to look at it to make sure and find a good spot to put everything. Everyone was friendly and the install itself was super clean and the quick disconnect is amazing the reason it gets such a low review is everyone recommends them but what I have came to conclusion is they can install everything but you will need to double check everything that was done. When I brought it in I had everything on the amp the way I pulled it out my truck only about 25% gain turned up what I received back was max out gain and pushing way to much power to the sub. I only live roughly 15 min from there shop and the amp was in shutdown mode before I even got home. It was so hot I could cook an egg on this amp. Took it to another ship they actually set it how it’s supposed to be. I went on a hour ride had the volume in the car at roughly 80% and it was barely warm vs the 15min drive home and it was shutting down. Also big thing is they gave me a quote of 585 out the door and then I pick it up and it’s $100 more because they messed up on their end when pricing stuff then didn’t tell me they were gonna cut holes all throughout the back of my brand new car to install stuff. Overall, if you give a customer a price and you mess up the shop should’ve ate it.

  Had an appointment yesterday for my jeep (swapping the front tow hooks). I was in touch with one of their worker via email. Came in and the guy at the front desk asked me who i talked to mentioned it was a guy and he then told me that the guy was probably jim, he then asked me about the price jim offered me i told him $85-125 and i showed him the price $85-150 “and he was cool with it then mentioned that its initially $150/hour which i understood but i was expecting it would be a max of $150 for the job considering what jim said on our convo. Sat there waited, there was a guy before me so i was thinking they are still working on his car. 30 minutes later one of the guy working on my jeep asked me if they were only swapping the hooks while carrying both tow hooks he then went back to work on the jeep waited for an another 40min which was already an hour and 10min. I used the bathroom and saw the jeep was almost done then sat and wait again another 20min passed I was a little worried cause its taking so long and after another 45 min, saw the guy working on my jeep ,he hang my keys on the side of the wall and i waited another 20min 😅 one of the guys sitting in the desk saw me looking and he said “they just finished working on your jeep” went to the desk and he said work was 2 1/2 hours but they will charge me only 2 hours which cost $300. He saw my face not happy with the price and asked me if its ok? 😅 i did tell him nope that’s too much, he said they had to take everything off and put it back everything back on but right before installation which was 4 days before the appointment jim and i talked about everything with price and installation, I even told jim i can do it but manually was really tough if i had the right tools/ power tools it would be easier. Looks like they milked the time to do this. I didn’t want to argue so i just paid. If i knew the price would be $300 i would’ve just went somewhere closer a shop that offered me $200 which was a lot less and closer. I do understand the business thing, they have to make money etc.. but i wish they were a little more honest. It’s really hard to find a good shop now a days who is trustworthy and reliable shop. The work was ok i have no issues and about the staffs they were ok. Kinda sad it didn’t workout for me. Cost was overprice for the labor when i provided the parts needed. Appreciate the work and i do understand 2 hour labor for tow hook swapping falls in standard labor in illinois which is prolly $150-30, Going here once is ok i guess.

  Some of the most professional and competent car techs and mechanics I’ve ever seen. I bought a dashcam from ABC and had them install it. They were recommended by my dealership and it was a spot on choice. They got it done in a few hours, walked me through how it works, and kept prompt communication the whole time. Highly recommend them.

  I contacted Ray Ettleson to inquire about getting backup cameras and a 7"monitor installed. When Ray realized I had plans to then take the truck to another service to get electric brake controller and wiring harness installed Ray said "we do that kind of work" (and for a better price)...then I decided to buy a Kenwood Stereo and Speakers to have Bluetooth capability. I mentioned to Ray I needed to get the wheels replaced and Ray recommended powder coat them glossy black....they look amazing!! ABC Electronics is a great place I highly recommend and Ray Ettleson is a master at coordinating everything! Highly skilled technicians, great service and prices! You can't go wrong here! So many services under one roof!
