  They know what they're doing. Feel like a real car shop here. The manager, Johnathan C. is a hands-on leader. I came in hoping to troubleshoot my car battery and next thing you know he is testing and recharging within 2 mins of me coming in. Meanwhile there are 4 other sets of customers and every staff member of on the ball. Helping with care. Bilingual help here too! Se Habla Español! The site is clean, and organized. Spotless. Grateful for finding this gem. O'Reilly is across the street but the vibe was way off and I walked out after not getting any help.

  Very happy with the service! Shawn Bennett was extremely helpful and made the visit go smoothly! He was knowledgeable and took his time to make sure everything was good, highly recommend!

  Bad experience with one of the workers Some old men was following me thinking that I was going to steal some electrical products I felt uncomfortable idk is cuz I’m Hispanic or the way I dress but he was rude I asked to look for the part, he started yelling and saying he didn’t have it. At least the other YOUNG EMPLOYEE was nice and able to search for the part that I need it. Anyways I paid for my parts.

  "Highly recommend this AutoZone! I had a complex battery warranty issue with my 2008 Acura TL, and Shawn Bennett provided the best service I've experienced in years. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable about battery systems, and truly went above and beyond to help me. It's rare to find someone who cares this much about customer service. If you need help with a battery or parts, ask for Shawn—he’s the best in Elgin!"

  My boyfriend called this location to confirm stock of an item he needed and the employee confirmed it was in stock in store and could be picked up. He headed to the location about 30 minutes later and spoke with Richard F about the item and Richard told him they don’t carry the item in store. My boyfriend then showed him the website saying in stock and then informed him he called the store and the employee said they had it. Richard then called my boyfriend a liar, and told him that nobody has called the store. After being called a liar my boyfriend dropped this subject and tried to return an item he came with, any other time the employees are able to look up a receipt with our phone number but Richard refused to and told him he doesn’t do it that way and suggested my boyfriend call corporate instead. After speaking with corporate and getting the receipt, my boyfriend went back inside and told Richard he spoke with corporate and Richard proceeded to insinuate my boyfriend was lying once again and said “who did you speak with because corporate is closed already and i know everybody there”. My boyfriend showed him the receipt and the name of the corporate employee who he spoke with and Richard responded with an attitude saying he didn’t know that name. After almost 40 minutes and being publicly humiliated by richard, my boyfriend was able to get store credit. This was extremely embarrassing and beyond unprofessional!!
