  Dobbs in Edwardsville (both locations) are the places to get tires and brake service in Madison county. Very professional service.

  Got a screw in one of my tires (purchased through Dobbs end of 2025, but at the other location down the road). Had to go back and forth with the about whether or not they had been purchased through Dobbs, as they were trying to charge me full price for new tire since the screw hole couldn’t be repaired. Once the other location confirms with this store that they were purchased through Dobbs, they get the new tire ordered same-day and it was replaced and ready to go before I had expected, for under $100. I would have thought that our Dobbs records would be universal amongst all of the Dobbs stores but apparently that is not the case. One star removed for that because it was such an ordeal. Another star removed for how dirty they left my steering wheel when I picked it up. I’ve attached a photo taken the moment I got back into my car (you can see the Dobbs bays in the background). Not cool.

  Dobbs is the absolute best! Tire pressure was low. Dobbs made room for my appointment in their very busy schedule. They found a nail in the tire. The long trip we were about to make could have gone very differently. I never go anywhere else!

  In general my husband does all our mechanic work. We just get tires at Dobbs. The wait for 2 tires (8hours) and the refusal to order tires unless a deposit was paid or vehicle was there was a bit extreme considering there was a potential warranty on the tires. Staff was friendly and pleasant, waiting room was clean. They did give us a discount on tires even thi they weren't covered by the warranty.

  The service was fine. The checkout was not. Dobbs did not disclose a $5.00 “service fee” up front but added it to my bill at checkout. Since this fee is not shown on the advertised price, I was forced to pay extra above our agreed upfront cost by Dobbs. It looks like they know few people will raise a protest for $5.00. This is petty theft by intimidation and patently unethica, not mention false advertising. The manger got angry when I confronted him. Told me I would need to take it up with “Corporate”. I think the entire tire and auto repair industry does this petty theft to its clients. I hate our litigious tendency in this country but it is tempting to initiate a class action suit.
