  Had a set appointment I was told what car I'd be renting when I got there they had NO cars. After bitching for a few minutes and getting all kinds of excuses, they called another store and thankfully my ride was able to take me on a 20 minute ride to get there. So disappointed is the lack of care.

  My reservation was reserved through the insurance company of the person that rear ended me. As soon as I walked in the place stinks!!! I felt like I was in the principal’s office or a detective’s office being grilled and interrogated. The whole vibe was off. There were 3 total employees sitting in that office and it was dead silence. Awkward! As soon as I handed my id he gave it back to me and said he couldn’t help me because the address was wrong. I left. I called customer service and they said as long as I had a major credit card (which I did but wasn’t asked) she said she will have the manager call me. A whole 24 hours went by and no call! I called customer service again and they transferred me to the store and the line rang then disconnected without someone even saying hello. I called customer service again and said they can’t override but to go to a different store. I called the East Peoria location one last time to request a manager. I talked to him and he basically said he was siding with his assistant manager that helped me even after explaining that this was through insurance and I have a major credit card and a government issued id with the correct address and the drivers license without the correct address. I advised customer service told me differently and I’ll just go somewhere else. They said no office will help me….. well they were very very extremely wrong! I did go elsewhere and got even better customer service not far away and the place even smelled better. Definitely will not be back to the East Peoria location and neither will my friends or family. We will go to another town for the better experience! Mind you I wasn’t there for pleasure but for pain of someone rear ending me and my children!

  The worst car rental place. I reserved a car for pick up at 8 am and I came all the way to pick it up and they said they do not have cars available for pick up until 4 pm.

  I had an excellent experience at the East Peoria location. PJ Jerszynski was incredibly friendly, professional, and truly went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied as a customer. His dedication to customer service was outstanding. The entire staff at the branch was welcoming, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. The vehicle was prepared quickly, and it was in excellent condition when I picked it up. This was one of the best rental car experiences I've had, and I will absolutely use this location again in the future. Highly recommended!

  I understand that severe weather can impact rental car inventory, and I would have been disappointed but understanding if that had been the only issue. The problem was that I had a confirmed reservation, spent $40 on an Uber to reach this location, and was only informed upon arrival that no vehicles were available. My options were to wait several hours, leave and come back later, or not receive a car at all. No transportation assistance was offered, and I was told a vehicle could not be delivered to my hotel because it was outside their delivery zone. To make matters even more memorable, while I was standing in the office discussing the situation, the building was struck by lightning. The CCTV equipment reportedly shorted out and began smoking, a fire extinguisher was discharged, the office filled with smoke, and the fire department was called. The weather was beyond anyone's control. The lack of communication about vehicle availability and the complete failure to honor a confirmed reservation were not. Customers should not have to spend money traveling to a rental location only to discover there is no vehicle available. I ultimately canceled my reservation and worked directly with Enterprise customer service to find another solution.
