I recommend you go to calibre collision skokie location instead of coming here. Avoid this place! I had terrible experience at Gerber collision. My car was hit while parked not in a collision rather Minor side swipe which ripped my front bumper and driver side fender. Originally came here to get a quote for my State Farm insurance. They said they can’t write up a quote until they disassemble it mind you my car was never in a collision anyways so there will not be any other damage ( they just want to finesse ) they took my car in for a repairs they took about $5900 from State Farm for a front bumper and driver side fender which is crazy because that runs about $1900 anywhere else so they ripped off my insurance and then when they returned my car, my undercarriage had a new damage as there was a small piece that was left hanging so I asked them to fix the undercarriage that they left hanging because It wasn’t hanging like that when I bright the car in. There’s no damage whatsoever underneath the car when I brought it there, but when they retured the car there was this plastic piece that’s hanging and scraping on the ground and now every time I go over a bump it’s scratching making a loud sound. They wouldn’t fix it even though they took nearly $6000 for a front bumper On a 7 year old toyota Prius. My car never had a plastic piece hanging and scraping on the ground before hand. Mia works in there she is rude and I will never choose this place to repair my car here again. They lost my business for a minor $30-$40 plastic piece by being lazy. If your going to charge $6000 for a front bumper and fender at least do the job right. I had a better experience at Calibre Collison where they make sure you leave satisfied. At Gerber collision they seem like they are fighting against

Very disappointing experience. My insurance company gave me an owner’s choice of repair shops, and I chose this one because the online reviews looked good. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. After my accident, two warning lights (traction control and downhill/stability) appeared, and my steering wheel became noticeably off-center while driving. These issues started after the collision, and I mentioned them because my main concern was the safety of the car. When I picked up my vehicle, the lights were still on and the steering issue had not been addressed. I was simply told that the mechanical issues were “not related to the accident.” During a conversation with Mia, she even suggested that it looked like I had only hit a curb, which is completely inaccurate. The accident involved two vehicles and there was significant impact on the driver’s side. What was most frustrating was the attitude and lack of concern. My safety concerns were dismissed, and it felt like once the insurance payment for the body work was processed, they were no longer interested in helping investigate the mechanical issues that appeared after the collision. I am now having to seek another shop to inspect the vehicle because I still have concerns about the safety of driving it. I chose this shop because of their reputation online, but based on my experience I would not recommend them.
