  The last 24 hours was very stressful, we were mistreated by another car rental company and let's just say Enterprise at Bloomington, IL airport saved us from being stranded at 11 at night (I wish I knew that young man's name)! Then the next day area Manager Christopher Rigg in Decatur, IL saved the day! He first listened with compassion and apologized that we went through the trauma that we did which Enterprise had nothing to with. Manager Chris made a phone call making it so that we could extend our vehicle throughout the weekend! He then went out his way to connect with another Manager in Springfield , IL (all I know him by is DJ) Manager DJ is willing to make sure we're able to get into a vehicle to carry us out through the end of next week! We have received nothing but dynamic customer service from Enterprise and I'll never rent from any other car rental! D. Fuller and L. Fuller

  This is a busy place! But even then the staff are never rude or make you feel rushed. They helped me put of a jam with no reservation or warning and couldn't have been nicer about it.

  Rented a mini van for a family even today. Dog hair everywhere. My daughter got most of it out. Please clean your cars and vans out, never know if people are allergic.

  Called ahead to reserve a vehicle. When I got there, they didn't have that vehicle. They had one vehicle available that had damage. I was in a bit of a bind, so I agreed to take it. Problem was they failed to document the damage and now I'm having to deal with the damage costs. The people here are very negligent. Do not go here.

  I've had great experiences at this location. I frequently need a vehicles for business travel for several hundred miles at a time. Generally, I'd receive the car I've requested for my appointment, staff was very kind and accommodating and the car was relatively clean. However, my numerous concerns relate to the size of this facility and how other renters get awarded/penalized for returns. I've had a few instances in which the vehicle I requested was not returned in time for my appointment. I was told they would be running over an hour plus late. So do they get charged more and I receive a discount? No that didn't appear to be the case. Also, my last experience was sub-par at best, I had an 11 AM pick up, I was asked to wait until 2 PM for a vehicle (luckily I had a flexible schedule). I was told I'd receive a call at 2 PM, no one called me up to 3 PM where I decided to call the store. No one answered for several attempts to wait on hold and about 4 calls. I finally got there at 4 PM with about 10 people waiting. The staff caved and gave me an upgrade for the same price which was much appreciated, yet my time was still overused. This location has so many people on any given day looking for rental cars, their footprint certainly isn't large enough to service the area. Corporate needs to invest in a move as Decatur has plenty of other larger spots that would offer a safer and more logistically appropriate parking lots for people to navigate in and out of. I will say as a huge upside, I feel for the staff. I can't say one time I've had anywhere near poor customer service. Always very accomodating and following up on rental experiences and pivoting in case vehicles aren't ready in time. Speaking as a National Emerald member, this locations needs a larger and better location. As well as more vehicles, and most importantly meeting appointment times and if that means punishing other renters for not meeting their agreement, then so be it.
