  I've always been impressed with National's customer service. While every other company is cutting back and testing customers like cattle, National is doing the opposite. Friendly agents who address issues quickly without a ton of AI gatekeepers before you talk with a real person. The ORD location is very convenient and easy to pick up and check out. Lots of good options. Cars are always gassed up and clean.

  The whole process with National was amazing. We picked up at Chicago with a choice of vehicles.. unfortunately the a/c had stopped working on the one we chose, I contacted the team and I was able to swap vehicles to carry on our journey. 3000 miles across America and Jeep Rubicon Gladiator was perfect to handle all terrains. Comfortable for long journeys. The return was simple again. Drop off at LAX and go. Great price and even offered a discount due to having to return the first vehicle. Will use again 100%

  National at O'Hare is our preferred car rental agency. Booking direct with National using the Emerald Club "Emerald Aisle" rental option allows you to pick from any available vehicle (probably not their luxury options though); we always have gotten great cars (new model Nissan Pathfinder this time, although there is no guarantee on a specific model). There was no paperwork/contract handed to me at check-in - which was okay with me. Upon exiting the garage the booth attendant asked for my drivers license and confirmed my booking and registered the vehicle. Very efficient, great experience.

  I always Get consistently good customer service from the National team at O’Hare Airport. My only disappointment with this recent rental was the fact that the car was not as clean as it normally is, which surprised me because that’s usually not the case no matter where I rent a National rental car. I’m sure this was the one off event and I look forward to my next rental to prove that this was an anomaly.

  Rented from National in Chicago - used Emerald Club skip the counter. Worked like a charm just walked to the Emerald Eisle picked out a Nissan Pathfinder and drove to Holland MI for the tulip festival. On the way back to Ohare we were rearended on the highway and returned a dented SUV to National. They were very accommodating and professional handling this situation. I will never rent a car from another company. A 5 star experience!
