  This shop is great! Brought a flat tire in... They repaired it, put it back on the car, put the spare back in the trunk. Very nice job and reasonably priced. Nice people too! Thank you!

  Overall, I had a good experience with Ashland Tire & Auto. I brought my car in for exhaust repairs, and they completed the work the same day. The repair cost seemed fair, though on the higher end of the expected range. One issue came up afterward: when I picked up the car, the tire pressure light was on. I initially assumed it was nothing serious, but by the following evening, one tire was completely flat. To be clear, I understand there's no way to know for sure whether the tire was damaged while the car was at the shop or while I was driving it home or the following day. I genuinely acknowledge that uncertainty. That said, the timing concerned me. I took the car to Just Tires, where I had purchased all four of the tires in 2022. I was told that the flat tire could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Replacing two tires, which is fairly typical (depending on tread wear and matching) was recommended. The total cost, including tax and installation, was about $575. I discussed the situation with Ken Papas at Ashland Tire, and I appreciate the way he handled it. He didn't dismiss my concern, but he also fairly pointed out that neither of us could pinpoint when the damage occurred. He offered $150 toward the replacement cost, which I accepted. I think that was a reasonable, good-faith gesture, even though covering the cost of one tire would have felt more satisfying. I'm leaving a positive review because the exhaust issue has been resolved (so I assume the original repair was done correctly) and because Ken handled an uncertain situation professionally. I'd consider using Ashland Tire & Auto again.

  My younger daughters made a road trip to visit their sister in the city and on the way the low oil light came on. The car is regularly serviced, however burns oil as it is an older model with 100k miles. Rather than send them to buy a quart of oil and worry they might not get the cap closed tight, I called Ashland Tire & Auto. I spoke with Ken and he said he’d take care of them. They texted within minutes after arriving that they were back on the road. That kind of genuine care and professionalism is rare. Ken takes pride in doing right by his customers, not just fixing cars. We couldn’t be more grateful.

  Came here for a second opinion after the dealer told me I needed front and rear brake discs replaced. Ashland Tire did their own assessment, told me my rear brakes were fine and quoted me a fraction of what I would have paid at the dealership. They have my business for life!
