  {Updated Aug 31st} Engine light came back on the next day , jim said they will honor the warranty I will update review after everything works out} {Aug 27} the engine was stalling ..they then replaced the Timing(chains, sprockets, guides, actuators, and tensioners) spark plugs, air filter, and vacuum pump. Back running no engine lights.

  Excellent service at Chicago A+ Muffler! The staff was professional, friendly, and honest. They diagnosed the problem quickly, explained everything clearly, and did a great job on my vehicle.   DO NOT GO HERE. I brought my car in Friday to get my catalytic converter fixed. My driver door was working perfectly fine when I dropped the car off. One of their employees got into my car to move it, and a few minutes later he was literally stuck inside because the driver door would no longer open. He had to climb out through the passenger side. I immediately told the front desk what happened. They said they would try to fix it. The next day they said they couldn’t fix it and needed more time. When I picked up my car, they told me it would be $300+ in labor to fix the door. How am I supposed to pay for a problem that happened while their employee was moving my car? The door was working before I brought it there. Now it doesn’t open from the outside, and I have to worry about properly locking my car and potentially getting locked out. Instead of taking responsibility, they said it was “possibly prior damage.” It wasn’t. I know the door was working before I brought my car in. I paid for the catalytic converter repair, but I’m extremely disappointed with how they handled this situation. I would not trust this shop with my vehicle.
