  The cost is the only reason i put 2 stars. Unprofessional, not safe, and rude. I had to say something about them allowing multiple cars ahead of me while im waiting. They checked nothing. And one mechanic is trying to tell me something thats wrong with my car and the man he is telling kept telling him not to worry he didnt care.

  No one greeted me until I drove my car into the oil change spot. I had to ask for my mileage to be reset and I had to ask for my tire pressure to be checked. They were very professional. I had a problem with rain water coming inside my car and not draining outside. No one introduced themselves, so I don't know who the guys was that looked into the water issue and told me i would have to take it to Kia dealership or a mechanic to look at it. And that was helpful.

  I thought this Valvoline instant oil change place was full service. I thought they checked tires. I thought they checked fluids. I thought they checked the light on the car. They did none of that. I asked them if they would do it and the guy said yes. He never did it.

  On 5/16/2026 an air filter was improperly installed in my car which caused the check engine light to come on. I took my car to the Chevrolet dealership in Homewood and they informed me that the air filter had been improperly installed and that the throttle body was dirty. I was charged $199.95. I went back to Valvoline 5/23/2026 and talk to the manager about what happened. He agreed that was a problem and I showed him my receipt from the dealership. He took a picture of my receipt and told me that I would be reimbursed and that customer service was going to call me within the next 2 days. I never got a call from customer service. I had to call three times to inquire about my reimbursement. Finally on the third call customer service told me that I would receive a check in the mail within 7 to 10 days. It's been a month and I've gotten nothing in the mail from them. The Homewood dealership service department told me to never go back Valvoline again.
