  I have been multiple times and service is always great! Staff are knowledgeable prices reasonable and sign up for offers to get discounts. Great experience every time

  I stopped at Valvoline expecting a 15-minute oil change. Instead, I accidentally purchased the “Full Engine Exploration Package.” Rather than removing the drain plug like every oil change I’ve ever had, they decided to suck the oil out. Somewhere along the way, they managed to wrap the suction tube around my crankshaft. Yes… my crankshaft. After they couldn’t get it out, my van was sent across the street to a repair shop, where they eventually discovered the tube had somehow wrapped itself around internal engine components. The best part? Once my vehicle was disabled, Dave, the manager of the Champaign location, stopped answering my calls. No updates. No rental car. No transportation. Just silence while my vehicle sat in pieces. So if you’re looking for an oil change that might turn into a six-hour mechanical adventure, leave you without a vehicle, and include a complimentary game of “Where’s the Manager?”—this is absolutely the place for you. I came in needing fresh oil. I left needing a repair shop and a ride home. One star. Would not recommend.
