- LCLeslie Coulter4 days ago1.0I went to Car-X on Saturday to purchase four brand-new tires. Unfortunately, when I woke up Sunday morning, one of my tires was completely flat. I had to take the tire back on Monday, only to find out that the valve stem was leaking. While I appreciate that they fixed the issue, this was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. When you pay for four brand-new tires, you expect the job to be done correctly the first time, without having to return for repairs the very next business day. I believe a proper inspection before releasing my vehicle could have prevented this situation. I'm disappointed with the overall experience and expected better quality control and service.

- TKTanveer KhanSep 16, 20265.0Hands down the best team I’ve met in Champaign since moving here! Donald and Ben are incredible. Genuinely nice, gentle, and humble gentlemen who know how to treat people right. Even though my car inspection was completely free, they treated me like royalty from the moment I walked in. They inspection my car quickly as i explained. I can't recommend them highly enough. Keep up the amazing work!
- ZMZach MillerSep 5, 20261.0Booked an appointment for an oil change, only to show up and be told that they don’t have my oil filter on hand and would have to up charge me to get it in, even though the oil filter is supposed to be included in the price of the oil change
- AGAlex GubanSep 2, 20261.0Worst Mechanic Experience of my life. ridiculous unaffordable cost, issuing an ultimatum giving me less than a day to decide if I want service or charge a daily fee to store my car on the lot. Customer service was horrible too. The guy could not adequately explain what was broken with my resonator and catalytic converter or how my drive shaft broke. The pictures of the inspection were horribly low quality and difficult to tell what was wrong in them. The guy refused to actually show me in person without charging me the full $3k for all the repairs. They would not allow customer sourced parts. They tried to upsell me on $8.9k of repairs and car maintenance that my car didn’t need at that moment. I will never be a customer of this company for as long as I can and will tell the people at work who reccomended it to me and my whole company to avoid doing business here if at all possible.
