    The manager's customer service was great however, I can not say the same for the other employees. Customer service was below standards. I was unable to switch out my rental because a replacement vehicle was not available and representatives were unwilling to make the necessary accommodations. The rental that I received had been smoked in previously, cigarette burns in the passenger seat, oil changed indicator on, and left turn signal was not functional. I called in to have it replaced and the representatives seemed not well trained on these type of issues, which led to me calling several times to several locations. However, I was met with the same results, no replacement vehicle. Therefore, I was forced to keep a vehicle that smelled like cigarette smoke, burn holes in the seat, needed an oil change, and left signal was out. Each time I called the employee(s) sounded as though they were unhappy in which helped to explain why I was unable to get a simple vehicle swap out. Although, my insurance covered the bill, I feel that the cost for having this vehicle was way too high considering the conditions mentioned previously. Lastly, when I initially received the rental it was not washed/cleaned very well but, I understand why at this point. Upon returning it I noticed one of the employees in the cleaning bay/area just walking in/out the bay as if he had nothing to do. He clearly was responsible for cleaning the vehicles but apparently he isn't very good at it or doesn't take pride in his work.

    This was my first experience renting a car. The ladies that helped me on my first day were friendly and answered all my questions professionally. Due to me having to rent while my car was in the shop they were prompt with responding and helping when I had to extend my return date. I also appreciated them being super helpful when i returned the vehicle, due to my work hours I was rushing but they were still very accommodating. Overall good experience, and would use their services again.

    Happy about my overall experience at Calumet City Enterprise. The vehicle was meh, but the customer service was top tier for me. Staff was very pleasant and explained things well. I even noticed them offering to help one another out if they were not busy with a customer themselves. I will rent from that location again when needed.

    I've been renting from Enterprise for years. I recently rented from his location for the first time, and this will now be my primary location. The staff is amazing, especially Amir, and the vehicles are clean and mechanically sound. I had a great experience, and I highly recommend this location.

    When you think of a leader, you expect someone who is understanding, empathetic, and able to see a situation from the customer’s perspective. My experience at Enterprise in Calumet was the opposite. I will say when I picked up my car it was easy payment and then the car. But that positive was overridden as I got consistent weekly calls about my rental and the insurance not paying. I spoke to one associate named Amhir who said they would research why there was a difference in the bill and that never happened. I never spoke with the manager who was William, but I did interact with the assistant manager, Bri. Her approach showed a level of immaturity in how she handled my situation and how she communicated with the insurance company and me. With her constant shaking and rocking back and forth, I was anticipating her lash out. I explained that my car had been stolen and that I was having a difficult month, but that went straight over her head. Instead of empathy, the interaction felt insincere, difficult, and unprofessional. Empathy is a choice and it is within each of us and she had zero. Overall, she appeared annoyed. I had to query the excessive charge that was assessed to my account, as the insurance informed me they had paid everything in full, but Enterprise issued a different bill. The focus seemed to be strictly on pushing rentals rather than building relationships or retaining returning customers. Their slogan about putting the customer first and valuing them should be removed. I personally would never rent from them again.
