Kathryn was fantastic, from driving us around the lot and showing us everything available to us, to the finance process and closing. Everyone we dealt with was kind and thorough....Toby, Skinny and we are sorry I forgot his name, the finance gentleman that explained the gap insurance etc. You are all great.....Margaret and Sally 5-9-2026

We recently traded in a 29VIEW for a 28VIEW because of the floor plan. There were some things that were convenient at CW Braidwood, but equally unlikable issues that I hope will help someone else in future. Perhaps them - maybe they'll read this and change how they do business, too. 1. Review your paperwork very very well - we did most of the transaction offsite and paperwork was mailed to us prior to closing. In our discussions with the finance gent, we did not agree to some of the service agreements that they want to throw in but they showed up on our loan docs anyway. For instance - our camper will not leave a parked spot so there was no need for the travel assistance. His rationale was that the final price WITH that particular cost in it was still below the original quoted price so I guess I should have been ok to me (!) That, to me, is not acceptable because you are financing some of those costs over decades. EVERY penny counts on day one, believe me. 2. On the day of closing we had a walk-through with the service gent to give us the lowdown on the new unit. I had several items I wanted to have fixed prior to them delivering my unit - big glob of glue with a footprint in it on the living room floor, dirt from door to walls also tracked in by workers, etc. He said, 'oh yes, no problem' every time I pointed something out. But when the camper was delivered EVERYTHING I mentioned to be corrected was still the way I left them. He evidently just gave me lip service on his commitment to get them done to get me out the door. My suggestion - MAKE HIM WRITE IT DOWN if you need something corrected before you take your new camper. His behavior really disappointed us with the whole experience. I mean, the whole thing was ruined when any member of the staff behaves that way!! 3. When we got the camper on site we found even more issues with it, such as kitchen sink leaking antifreeze, the auto bed didn't work - no sounds, no movement, no nothing. And trying to get Forest River and/or CW Braidwood to work on the issues has been like pulling teeth. We'll probably pay a plumber to redo the kitchen sink and just have decided we didn't really need to have that bed go up and down anyway. So, broken from the start - broken it will stay. Hope we don't have to sell it that way eventually..... Not sure I can recommend this experience or CW Braidwood. In my mind they should probably get less than an average grade reviewing my total list of issues. You can probably do better to shop elsewhere.

Plenty of parking for semi trucks and pickups pulling campers. Plan to stay here tonight and rest. If you can't find it here, you don't need it. Food, clothes, tech, barber, dentist, showers...you name it. It's here. Plan to eat dinner and call it a night.

We purchased our first camper at Camping World - Braidwood a few weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased with the experience from the moment we walked in to the time we left a week later with our brand new Campsite Reserve. Kat and Jeff made a great sales team! Jeff was new and Kat not only patiently and thoroughly explained everything to us and answered all our questions, she was also patient and kind with her new co-worker. We ended up purchasing a different camper than the one we went up to see (we drove 2 hours north), but we ended up with a brand new one, for less money, that was exactly what we were looking for all because she listened to everything we said. During the week, as we were making our final decision, Kat answered every text and phone call, even on her day off. The financing process was quick and easy, and Mike made sure we got an exceptional rate, even better than we expected. Thank you Kat, Jeff, and Mike for making this such an easy and enjoyable process. We just might use our Good Sam membership to camp there sometime just to pay a visit and thank you again in person!

I can’t thank camping world enough for everything they did to help make this possible. The whole team is absolutely amazing but to start our sales rep Jeff was so patient. He walked us through the new campers on the lot that were discounted because of the time frame they’ve sat. Then he walked us all the way down and through the used ones answering all the questions we asked. We had our 2 kids which are both under 3 so as you can imagine that was a lot. Regardless of that he was so understanding and patient. We had to jump through a good amount of hoops but eventually we got approved! Yayy! With our co signer living out of state they did expedited the shipping and made that whole process so smooth. We got to pick it up today and from the moment we walked it they treated us as if we were family. Amanda who was working the front desk immediately engaged with our boys and asked if it was okay to make them popcorn. She even let my 2 year old help! While we waited for our technician to finish up to do the walk through the whole team checked in with us and engaged with the boys! Ken was our technician. Once he was done doing his thing he came and grabbed us. Did the basic walk through and did his little info dump. Our 2 year old loved following him around and he was so okay with that. After we had to leave and head to the front our 2 year old had his melt down because he wanted to stay in the camper. Ken went a grabbed him some toy lizards! Like come on how much more hospitality can one business offer! That instantly calmed him down, so thank you so much again Ken! We got back to the front to finalize everything and because Jeff was off we had the pleasure of working with Jon today who is also so amazing. He gave us the stuff that came with our package and even walked through the retail section with us answering the last bit of questions we had. Blaine is the retail sales manager there and he even helped us with getting the little free goodies that came with our package (maps, booklets, ect.). He gave us his card and said if we need anything at all to give him a call. I’m so beyond impressed with the service they offered and thankful for everything they did. If you’re looking to get an RV/Camper definitely check out this place!
