  Bert has alot of experience and it shows! He is very knowledgeable, helpful and professional! We were looking for the right vehicle for us and he made it a pleasant and trusting experience!! We went for a test drive with Bert and he explained everything about the features and the warranty. He even helped us get the color that we preferred without having shipping charges added. We would Highly Recommend buying a vehicle from this dealer - we are very happy with our vehicle, the service before and after our purchase, and the overall experience!!!

  Took my car in for service and Sean was top notch through the whole experience. He made sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner so I could be on my way.

  The good: when I purchased my vehicle Bert was amazing. Pierre the Service Director, polite and patient. The bad: Sean in service - I will never work with him again. He doesn't listen to nor does he document the complaints regarding a vehicle brought in for service. He attempts to mansplain, speak down to you, and gaslight you while you explain your concerns. He was rude when I called to make an appointment, he was rude to my husband, who I should not have needed to get involved, and he was rude to me when I picked my vehicle up. And while I explained my frustration and concern to Pierre, another female customer in service overheard me. When Pierre left, unsolicited she told me she had the exact same issues with Sean. I will be happy to work with others, but I won't be working with Sean again.

  Decades ago I met some salesman from Bill Kay Honda at the Keels and Wheels event at Beckman Park in Kankakee. Who remembers that event? I bought my first Honda from one of them and my second a few years after that. This week I bought my fifth Honda from Bill Kay Honda! It's a beautiful, 2026 "Honda Certified," CR-V, hybrid Sport Touring model. "Honda Certified" is shorthand for "this car is basically perfect, and you get a better warranty than on a new one." It is absolutely my favorite way to buy a Honda! The best part of this purchase was once again working with Bert Tvrz. Selling cars has changed a great deal from the Keels and Wheels days, but I knew I was in good hands with Bert. I'm pretty sure we spent more time talking about old friends and family than we did about the car I was buying, but I know if I have any questions, I can reach out to Bert anytime.
