  My father-in-law was coming through town and was having car trouble on his way in. It was a Saturday and we called hoping to schedule an appointment for early Monday. However, the technicians stayed an hour after Tuffy was supposed to close until he came in to town to drop the car off so he could continue his trip the following day. They totally went above and beyond. We expected a large repair, but the technicians found the issue, replaced a simple part and the car was ready to go. We've been coming here for awhile, but this customer loyalty and honesty have made us lifelong Tuffy customers!

  Great first-time experience getting my all changed and my transmission fluid checked. Got some good advice about where to take my vehicle for brand specific work, service was fast and professional.

  EDIT: 5 stars Tuffy's reached out to me after I had posted this review and in reviewing previous tickets for this car at their shop they had asked to take a look at it again as the technician who had previously looked at it was no longer with them. They made time that fit into my schedule. They fixed the issues for me. It was such a relief to have this issue fixed and not reminding me of the issue at every stop light in town. At no point in time did they ask for me to amend the review I left. I edited it because I felt like once the issue was addressed they really did try to make sure I had a better experience. ORIGINAL: 2 stars I've taken our car to Tuffys for a few things to be fixed and had good experiences, but my last one had me upset. I had my brakes repaired and within a year they were acting up. I went in and was told they'd need to be repaired. I made a appointment for them to be repaired and then at that one I was told they were actually fine and safe. That they were mistaken. They still feel horrible. I feel that they are not taking accountability for the first replacements work quality. I don't slam on the brakes often or brake excessive hard causing them to wear that quickly or warp like they told me was the reason for this issue. On all the cars I've owned the brakes had never been a issue with getting replaced like this. Incredibly disappointed

  My experience with Tuffy Tire and Auto was amazing from start to finish. It started when I talked to alec about an estimate about getting brake pads and rotors ( that another auto service shop told me I needed). Decided to take my vehicle there due to the estimate and coupons I received in the mail. When I dropped my vehicle off I talked to Russ and he took my information and told me about the multiple point inspection they do and the expertise of the employees he has working there. A few hours later I received a text with the diagnostic check and photos of the problem areas. Turns out I did not need new brake pads and rotors but I needed the front exhaust Y pipe replaced due to the very loud noise my car was making. After receiving the text Russ called me and told me that he could order the part and have it there the next day ( I own an older vehicle so I knew that could be the case). The next day Russ called me and told me that the part came in and before they do the work he advised me of other issues that MAY arise. Those problems never came about and the car was able to be picked up that day at the quoted price and sounding as good as the day I bought it. The transparency of all interactions and quality of work that was done was very valuable to me and I will be happy to do business with them again!!!!

  Recommended to Tuffy's by a friend to get a second opinion. They ended up finding a big problem. Alec broke the news as gently as he could. It wasn't worth it to get fixed but I ended up getting an oil change. The oil change was fast. The whole environment was welcoming. I especially loved the Price is Right playing on the TV. The couches were also comfortable. Alec and Russ were both very easy to talk to. I will use Tuffys for oil changes from now on.
