  Late with the review only because I forgot google reviews is a thing but last winter black ice got me good and I ended up in the ditch. Tow guy was super rude while speaking to me. Later speaking on the phone he said well y'know you could've called us directly so it wouldn't be a police tow and I told him before I tried to tell the cops I'll call a tow truck but BPD sucks and they don't listen so eh not tilfords fault there however he had the nerve to say "well be happy the cop didn't write you a ticket for following to close or something" and I'm like uh hello there wasn't really anyone on the road it was black ice and an animal ran out so I hit the brakes and I started fish tailing nothing to do with following to close he just assumed I was I guess? Not to mention since I couldn't pay the tow bill I gave him the title to my car which isn't a problem but I informed them I just registered the car and I'm waiting for the title so I would call them 2 to 3 times a month to update them and let them know hey I still didn't get the title and after 3 months I finally got the title so I called them and said hey I got the title and the guy said oh we filed paperwork for it it'll be gone by friday (mind you I'm calling on thursday) so they didn't even inform me or tell me to get my hundreds of dollars worth of tools out of it they were just gonna junk it without telling me not to mention it sat there almost a whole month after that too so yeah. Also I bought the same car with a cracked A pillar trim piece and a slow leak in the tire so I asked hey do you mind if I grab the A pillar he said no then I asked can I take the wheel I'll throw one on he said no then when I got there I asked someone else and they said go ahead and I'm like I would've grabbed an old wheel to throw on so clearly they didn't mind but the one guy had beef with me for no reason and was being petty. Also not to mention the one lady that works there was a massive you know what to me. Worst tow business ever! 0 stars never come here!

  I was looking for a place to get my front brakes done and needed my vehicle taken care of quickly since I use my SUV for work and travel all over. I called the shop on Monday afternoonaround 3pm right before they closed at 4pm and I was still able to drop the vehicle off. Not only were they able to take care of my two front brakes, but they also did an oil change, a full vehicle inspection, and I got a call that my service was complete before noon on Tuesday. Not only was the service done quickly so I could have my vehicle back for work, but it was done well, and my car now is driving better than it has in a long time. I want to give a special thank you to Mike who not only stayed in communication with me about the vehicle but helped me get the vehicle in and get the service I needed in a timely manner. On Thursday, just two days later, he even reached out to check in and make sure i was satisfied if the work and to make sure the vehicle was running properly. I will definitely be continuing to use the mechanic, their towing if ever needed, and would highly recommend them. Thank you again Tilford's!

  Would not recommend Tilfords, I had lifters replaced which failed within a year and 8000 miles. Broke down 6 hours away. I took the vehicle in to a local shop who diagnosed the problem. When I called Tilfords they indicated I would need to bring the vehicle back to them, 6 hrs away. He did NOT indicate I needed to use Napa Auto Care warranty. I had the vehicle repaired and attempted to get Tilfords to honor their warranty, I even offered to meet in the middle and let them cover half of their original repair bill. They DID NOT honor the warranty because I didn’t call Napa Auto Care warranty first, which I later learned was indicated at the bottom of a paragraph on my original bill. This review is not meant to degrade Tilfords but as a public service for those needing reliable auto repairs, upfront communication and shop who will stand behind their warranty and communicate the warranty process.

  Professional Service, Excellent Attention to Detail and Fast Service. Gavin was Incredible. He came to Wisconsin for us to pick up our 2024 Subaru that was crushed by a Tree. He called me to let me know he arrived and was very kind enough to wrap our vehicles windshield since glass was everywhere. Tilford's is Top Notch now I know why I was referred to them from a previous client. Thank You Again Gavin and Tilford's You made a stressful couple of days easy on us.

  Dishonest! Price tripled and in top of it had to deal with the attitud, this is the company that BPD uses to tow your cars outside Church or home think before giving them your business.
