  I was very disappointed in today’s experience. I reserved a car 2 months ago. I think I got 5 messages about my reservation and it was good for me to pick up at 11:30. When I got there the guy said there was no car for us. So of course I was upset and ask how does this happen. He said no returns came back. We asked what can he do to help us. He said go to the airport to rent one. I got mad the he wouldn’t even help in this situation. Customer service horrible. Some words were exchanged and he proceeded to call my boyfriend a name. So unprofessional. We had to call Avis to see it they could help us. So much by experience. I will never rent a car from enterprise again. So sad employees don’t even care that they could just ruin your vacation. But if I needed this for an emergency no compassion for customers. Please train your employees better this could really ruin your business.

  Now that I'm seeing other reviews, looks like this location has a trend of not having people's rentals. I got an email this morning, two hours before I needed to pick up a minivan that they didn't have any and didn't anticipate getting any back. Suggested calling the one at the airport!!! Instead I went to the Crystal Lake location and the men there were great to deal with! They were very apologetic that this happened, and were able to get us a minivan right away. (PS Algonquin told me none of the surrounding stores had any!) Shortly after we got our minivan in Crystal Lake, we went to get food from a place in the same center as Enterprise and wouldn't ya know there were two minivans sitting there!!! I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!

  I’ve used Enterprise many times over the years, but unfortunately this location was a disappointment and I won’t be returning. The employees were nice enough when I picked up the car, and one employee mentioned he needed to “touch up” the vehicle before giving it to me. The second I got in, the overpowering Febreze smell was so strong it was hard to breathe. After driving it for a while, it became obvious why — the car clearly smelled like cigarette smoke and it seemed like they were trying to cover it up instead of being upfront about it. The smell was terrible the entire rental and someone with Asthma - this sucked. Then at drop-off around 9:30 AM, I could hear employees in the back talking, but no one came to the front to help. I called the office and even yelled hello trying to get someone’s attention, but nothing. After waiting a while, I ended up driving around back and dropping the keys in the box because I simply didn’t have time to wait around. Overall, not the level of service or vehicle quality I expect from Enterprise.
