  They tried to give me a vehicle with expired registration and mechanical issues. Downgraded to a smaller car because they had no other options, second one had a flat tire. Third one worked but was very dirty and I spent 30 min cleaning it myself. Do better.

  My experience with the Enterprise location in Urbandale was extremely disappointing. The initial pickup process was excellent. The staff member who assisted me was courteous, professional, and made the rental process easy. Unfortunately, the experience changed significantly after I took possession of the vehicle. After learning that my vehicle repair would take much longer than expected, I contacted Enterprise to request a larger, more comparable replacement vehicle. What followed was several days of inconsistent communication, unreturned messages, conflicting information, and missed commitments. I repeatedly had to initiate follow-up myself, often waiting many hours, and sometimes an entire day, for responses. At various points I was told vehicles might be available, only to later learn they were not. I rearranged my schedule multiple times based on information provided by staff, only to arrive and discover no vehicle was available. On another occasion, I was notified that a replacement vehicle was ready and given a pickup window, only to later receive a voicemail advising the vehicle had not actually arrived. What was most frustrating was not simply the lack of a comparable vehicle. It was the lack of coordination, communication, and follow-through. Had Enterprise been transparent from the beginning, I could have adjusted my expectations accordingly. Instead, I spent nearly a week chasing updates and attempting to resolve an issue that should have been proactively managed by the branch. I appreciate the professionalism shown by a few individual employees, particularly during the initial rental process. However, the overall experience fell well below expectations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location and would hesitate to rent from Enterprise again. The issue was not vehicle availability. The issue was repeatedly being told one thing and then discovering something entirely different after making plans around those representations.

  They tried.. but every SUV they had wasn't made for someone over 5'10" and dissabled. had the SUV for three weeks the small engine and constant shifting had no mechanical issues. but small space provided for a stiff neck and sore shoulder. This was an upgrade the Toyota Camry was impossily small and low to the ground.
