  Day didn’t start so well but the tech advised me I could call the store manager Robert who handled the situation very professionally and generously. I’ve had a career in guest contact and he understands keeping a lifetimes worth over haggling for some extra dollars. I will definitely refer Safelite and use again if needed.

  Safelite lived up to the hype - I went online and in less than 5 minutes had an appointment time scheduled - they were there within a couple hours and it took an hour or less to change my entire windshield. The tech was professional and whole process very smooth.

  The price was great. Unfortunately that the end of the good. Scheduled service for between 8am and 12pm. Tech never showed or called. Attempted numerous times to contact customer support only to repeated get led around in a circle by an AI and directed to their website. At 4pm as I was cancelling my appointment, the tech finally called to inform me that the windshield hadn't arrived this morning and still never arrived by the time he returned to the shop. Something that should have been communicated during the scheduled service window. After wasting a day waiting for service I cancelled and went with a local small business that communicated well, was priced reasonably and delivered on everything agreed upon. I would not recommend Safelite if you value communication and follow through in a service provider.

  My experience was great. After initially scheduling for a windshield repair, I had to adjust my appointment to a replacement after the crack grew. Safelite was kind enough to let me change from the repair to replacement while keeping the same appointment. My repair technician arrived early in the appointment time window. He was friendly and did a good job. Very happy with the whole experience.

  I was charged 60 plus dollars more than quoted and authorized on my card. Prior to install, I was rescheduled three times. The technician did not clean all the broken glass off the seats. The floor or the dash he also left a significant amount of glass pieces in the driveway around the vehicle that was worked on. When I called the eight hundred number to complain about the overcharge, it took quite a significant amount of haggling to get someone to agree to reverse the overcharge, but as of twenty seven hours after that conversation, the reversal still hasn't happened. I will never, ever recommend safelight to anyone.
