Your 5 hour no call diagnostic. Just could not have been more dismissive. 5 hours to tell me he's as useless as a diet crouton and I have to miss work and reschedule during the week now. The staff was inexperienced and nearly caused serious engine damage. * I encountered confusion about store hours on two separate visits. * During the oil change, the manager and tech did not know my jeep's oil filter was located under the hood (top filter) and nearly completed the service without changing it. * I observed improper handling of the oil filter housing cap during installation. * There was a dispute about pricing and coupon usage. * After leaving, my jeep's low oil pressure warning light came on. * The manager checked the oil level and did nothing to address the low oil pressure issue. * I tried seeking help from another location but found it closed after being told by their call center it was open. I ended up taking my jeep directly to Jiffy Lube and they found the issue immediately. The wrong oil filter had been installed!!! The filter housing cap was chipped and stripped. The filter Car-X installed was incompatible with my jeep. After the correct filter was installed, the the low oil pressure warning disappeared. Update: The store manager has since refunded my charge and is replacing the oil filter housing cap.
