  They were quick and easy, and had a competitive price with the added bonus of them coming to my home. My main complaint is that the technician did not clean up the broken glass very well (I removed a literal pile of glass shards, probably 3 handfuls worth). I’m also not sure if technicians vacuum at all as there were tiny shards in my upholstery and stuck to my steering wheel. Other than that, I was quoted a lower price on the phone than I was in-person when the technician tried to get payment. The technician called it in and got the price reduced back to what I was expecting so I’m OK with that but it did feel like a little bait and switch.

  I would like to commend the Safelite team member who assisted me for their professionalism and personable demeanor. Despite a challenging situation, Nick, the Safelite team member, efficiently and professionally handled the service for my vehicle. I greatly appreciated having someone who takes pride in their work.   Setting up the appointment online was straightforward and easy, including getting insurance approval. The tech was unable to make it to our house during the original appointment but a new one was set up and we were his first stop during the new window. Edgar was quick and professional and the new windshield looks great!

  Horrible repair job. Now need new windshield because Safelite made my chip worse. Claimed it was because of the heat. Never should have attempted repair if he new heat would be an issue. I now need a new windshield. Don't recommend!! This is a picture of the repair.

  I scheduled a 9AM appointment to get a new windshield and showed up at 920am due to a My daughter’s a nurse and had to go to work unexpectedly so I had to pick her car up from here job . I couldn’t call ahead because they only have an automated phone system with no way to reach a person. When I arrived, the staff seemed understanding at first and said they’d check with the technician. They came back and told me I’d have to reschedule with no flexibility. I understand policies exist, but twenty minutes for an urgent situation felt unreasonable. Ended up going somewhere else instead. Mind you not this is the second bad experience with safelite I’ve had they are just corpo robots who are soul less Would not recommend if you ever need a little understanding. P.s the place I ended up going to has had to fix safelite botched window jobs on the regular if u can help it don’t go to SAFELITE!!!
