  I have visited this location a few times. Here is an email I sent to the manager of this location and through corporate customer feedback. I am reaching out to provide feedback in regard to a car wash I received today (6/24/26 @ 4:04) at the location at 11 HyVee Drive in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This was my third or fourth visit to this location. I ordered the Works Wash. Before I went through the car wash, there was a pile of bird poop on my hood. After I was out of the car wash, there was still bird poop on my hood. As a result, I asked the attendant for a re-wash. The attendant was Juan, an assistant manager. Juan indicated that I was on a list of people that frequently ask for rewashes and told me I should be paying for unlimited washes. I don't live near the location and I am only in the area for a car wash once per month or so. As a result, a membership doesn't make much sense for me. Best as I can remember, this was the second time I asked for a rewash at this location. The first time, I had visible dirt streaks left on the car after the car wash. Juan's approach was disrespectful and insulting. He was trying to make me feel guilty as a "frequent" user of the rewash policy. As we all know, Tommy's Car Wash makes the re-wash feature a part of their business offering. The Tommy's Car Wash website explains the rewash policy, which says all customers asking for a rewash get a Works rewash. I feel like it's important that I point something out. Before I visited Tommy's Car Wash today, I knew the rewash policy and I knew that I could get a Works rewash if I paid for a $10 wash - yet I still decided to pay for the $25 Works wash. If I were trying to game the system, why would I have paid for a Works Wash? I simply want and expect a quality car wash for $25 + tax. The first time I asked for a rewash, I purchased a $15 wash. I remember Juan telling me that I really should have paid for a $25 wash to get the best wash experience. Today, I decided to pay the extra $10 dollars to get a higher quality wash, only to hear Juan tell me I should be paying for unlimited washes to make sure my car is clean. I sure do feel like he is moving the goalpost instead of dealing with the actual problem, which is an inadequate car wash. Juan eventually allowed me a rewash. As I approached the wash bay on the second wash, I saw Juan put a rear wiper protector bag on the car in front of me. I realized no one put one on my car on the first wash or the rewash. Given that I purchased the highest level of wash, I can't help but feel as though I received a lower level of service. Why? I am much less likely to visit your location as a direct result of Juan's behavior and the way he responded to my request for a rewash. Even after the rewash, my car had bird poop remnants on the hood, water spots/streaks all over the vehicle, and bug remnants on the front grill. I have a 2020 Honda Pilot and it is stored in the garage on a regular basis. I wash it 2-3 times per month. I understand there may be some bug remnants after a wash, but I shouldn't be seeing bid poop remnant, dirt streaks, or water spots/streaks on the car like in the attached photos I don't experience these kinds of issues at other car washes, so I can't help but wonder what the problem is with this car wash location. There are other Google reviews with similar experiences with poor washes, so I know it's not just me. I know you have a good overall rating (4.7), but there are many reviews related to poor customer service and inadequate car washes.

  Basically an average car wash glittered up with a fancy building. I did not use the vacuum or anything else. The brushes pushed back the driver side mirror and bent my license plate on both sides! A few minutes later, I stopped to inspect. All the large surfaces and tires looked fine. But, sure enough, no better than anywhere else in leaving dirt and spots all over the back window, around the tailgate edges and especially all of the black large rear plastic armor area. And this was the top tier washboffering! When I complained about the bent license plate, they were very long on explanation but would do nothing about it. So much for being "totally committed to customer satisfaction!
