We managed to keep it full enough to make it to Des Moines late Saturday afternoon. We cadged rides with family for Sunday events. Family recommended Acheson as the place to get the car worked on. We called Acheson on Monday morning (the day we had planned to leave). They said they were busy and short two technicians, so they could make no promises, but to bring it in. They got it in the shop and diagnosed the problem within a couple hours and replaced the water pump by late afternoon. We only had to stay one extra day, which we enjoyed visiting with family. The staff were wonderful and the work top notch!
