  My husband and I were driving to Omaha Nebraska when our motorhome lost power on I80! We got off the exit and called CoachNet to have it towed to the closest Cummins dealer which was in Cedar Rapids Iowa! We were treated so good by everyone at this dealership! I can’t Thank Them enough for their fast friendly service! Nick was very nice and answered all of our questions and we were able to stay right there in their parking lot in our motorhome! Thank you Nick and all the other guys at Cummins dealership for making our stressful situation a little bit better! I would rate our experience a ten star if I could!   Called for parts. Wanted to order a part. Had the part number and everything. Made two phone calls. On hold the first time for over ten minutes no answer, had to hang up. Made a second call, on hold for over fifteen minutes and still on hold. Purchased the part from aftermarket. Dont care if I got a cheap non OEM part if thats the kind of service I get.

  I called the repair shop to get a price on replacing a transmission because they are the ONLY place in Iowa that works on that brand of transmission. After a few days, I got a return call with the price after the service writer had a chance to talk to the mechanic that would actually be doing the work. I was quoted $2300. No problem. I will have it there in a few weeks to get it done. As soon as I got it there, the price changed to $5000 because "we didn't know how much damage was done". They didn't have any parts on that quote so when I brought it to their attention, the price went up to $6000. So now, it is almost triple the original but, like I said before, they are the only place that works on the brand of transmission in the entire state. I don't know for sure if that had anything to do with it or not. The only reason that it is a 2 star rating is because they took responsibility for a window that got broken and paid for the damages. Otherwise, it would be a 1 star. I will travel further if I need to but I don't think I will ever be back in that shop again.
