  I forgot the name of the manager here, but he was so nice and helped me out a lot! He took his time and explained everything in detail without making me feel stupid. I felt the price was fair and that he didn’t try to take advantage of me like other places like this has in the past. He even asked MY opinion about having a day off the week where us ladies can come in and get cheaper work. Ladies if you’re looking for a mechanic that won’t talk to you like you’re dumb or take advantage of you, go see the manager here!

  Ken was so nice and understanding about my situation and made my budget work. I know this is a car place but he even took the time to make sure that my kids were comfortable while we waited. He asked them what they wanted to watch and he turned on cartoons for them and gave them paper and creations to stay entertained. THIS is the level of customer service that every place needs. Thank you Ken and your team, you’ve made me a lifetime customer from this experience!

  My car had been making a weird grinding sound for a few weeks or so, and i dropped off my vehicle for an inspection. They were able to diagnose my issues and get them fixed the same day, along with helping me find a solution in my budget. Kenneth was AMAZING. He kept me informed the entire time, and went out of his way to get me my car after they closed so I could have it same day. I will ABSOLUTELY recommend them and return for future work.

  While my initial visit in February had a rough start—a parking brake clamp was broken during a brake job and fell through the cracks for several months due to supply chain issues and staffing changes—the new manager, Kenneth, completely saved the day. Once Kenneth took over, he took full ownership of the situation. He personally tracked down the rare part (driving out of state to get it), got my car in immediately to fix the issue at no charge, and even performed a thorough inspection that caught front brake wear and a burned-out turn signal. It is rare to find an auto shop manager who will go that extra mile to make an old mistake right. Kenneth has earned my trust and respect, and I highly recommend Brakes Plus under his leadership!

  I made an appointment a few days in advance to get my brakes replaced. I showed up for my appointment 10 minutes early and they tell me they are finishing up a couple cars and then they will get to mine. I assumed that meant it would be soonish. Nope. I waited two and half hours for them to even look at my car, making my total time there 4 hours. They spent over 30 minutes looking under my hood at my engine compartment, when I was just there for my brakes. I noticed that they looked over my entire vehicle and took notes on things and yet I was never given this report or told any of the things they observed. When I checked out I thought that it was included in my paper but it wasn’t. I didn’t expect to spend more than 2 hours there so it really stunk that the appointment took up basically half of my day. I am not sure what the point of an appointment is if it’s no where even close to the time they will get to you. This would have been a five star review if they would have given me a heads up about the wait time. What would have been best was if they had called me before I got there saying they were running a bit behind and to not show up for a bit. But instead I sat in the very uncomfortable plastic chairs in the waiting area. Recommendations for them: -figure out your appointments. If you are hours behind, let them know. You need to communicate estimated wait times. It’s fine if there’s a wait, but they need to tell you that and be realistic about it. -if you’re going to spend a bunch of time looking at things I didn’t explicitly say I was there for, at least share that information on what was observed. I saw the word leaking on my report, yet no one said anything to me so I don’t know what it was or if it was important. -please get better chairs in the waiting area. Most of the time I have to stay and wait, I don’t have another ride and would rather watch my vehicle get worked on. The uncomfortable chairs are enough for me to not want to come back if I have to sit in them for hours.
