  Even though customers did not bring their vans in on time when I went to pick one up, there wasn’t one there, but the person was working hard at finding one and getting one in for me and within an hour and a half they did. 😊

  I rented a car from the Des Moines airport via Allegiant and then found out there were many additional fees from Alamo beyond what I had already paid. My car malfunctioned on the way back to Des Moines for my return flight; I got stranded in the Amana Colonies. I then had to drive very slowly on back roads to the nearest drop location at the CR airport because the car’s lane assist was malfunctioning. They made no provisions for my travel back to Des Moines and then said they wouldn’t change me a drop fee for dropping off the car at a the CR location. When I checked my bill later they charge me $100 for dropping off the malfunctioning car that wouldn’t make it to Des Moines; I had to arrange my own transportation to Des Moines. This was after I spent extra money on the bumper to bumper coverage. Wanted to share my experience in case it is helpful to someone else.

  Overall great experience and always affordable! We rented a Hyundai Santa Fe with very low mileage, and even though we arrived close to 11:00 PM, the staff was incredibly friendly. Navigation tip: It’s an open lot, so turn right immediately as you exit the doors and keep walking to find the Alamo row. There was a small windshield crack (under an inch), and while their policy only requires reporting damage over two inches as per their form, I had them note it on the record before I took the vehicle from the lot just to be on the safe side. Returning the car was a breeze—just parked it in the same lot, walked over, and handed in the keys!

  I had a 2 hour flight delay & was worried about being able to pick up a vehicle when we landed. To my surprise when I landed at 12am Alamo was still open & the customer service I received from Wes was phenomenal. For it to be so late & the amount of people he had to help assist his customer service never changed. He was very kind & personable and got me into an amazing vehicle. I would definitely use this Alamo location again ☺️ Highly recommend.
