  I bought a camper a couple years ago from here. when I tried to get it maintained and service they tell me it’s fine. Now I got slide out issues because of a storm and they trying to say I neglect maintenance and service but how is it neglect when I took it to them to have it maintained and serviced but they tell me it fine can someone please tell me how that is my fault or neglect if they tell me it’s all fine and nothing wrong with camper but now I got a claim they trying to say lack of service and maintenance

  Update #2: So camping world in Cedar Falls has said three different things. The roof was damaged by hail, it was damaged by scrapping against something, and finally the service manager said he didn't know what damage was caused by he can't say for sure it was hail because he didn't look at it. But now I know why the manuals had been soaked and stuck together, when we got in the RV for the first time. Because the roof leaked all over and they lied. Now camping world offered to pay for half, $5,000 of the roof in "good faith." I don't think they have the same meaning as good faith as I do. We will see if they really have good faith if they find rotton underlayment under the roof. Meanwhile I had to put missing bolts in the airconditoner on the roof, replace the lose kitchen faucet that didn't have an air-rator, take the bathroom door off and glue it back together, and had to sanitize the water tank, cause they left water in and it smelled like rotten eggs. What exactly do they check when they take a camper in at store A and then transfer to store B? We were told it would be checked over and things fixed when we bought it. We will never be using camping world again, and I urge you to really read the negative reviews. Also if you do go there, do yourself a favor and examine everything before signing the paperwork, even get in the roof and look. We feel they just saw 2 females and sold it to us with our checking. And then some of the employees were condescending to us, like we didn't know what we were talking about. Update: they said they won't do anything. They say they don't inspect the roof when it is transferred in, they previous store was supposed. So they are saying the store in Texas is in the wrong. Now look at the pictures and tell me those holes are fresh??? Not to mention all the attempted holes patched. What a joke, never will go back to camping world. Spent $70,000 and this is how they treat you. Original: We purchased a 2020 Winnebago intent 30r on June 11, 2026 from the Cedar Falls, IA store. And now we are having issues with water leaking that was not inspected before we bought it. When we purchased it they told us they looked it over good, and now we know that is not true. After we got 30 minutes from the dealership with our motorhome, water started dripping from the ceiling onto the dash. We did not take it back then, as we had already been at the dealership for 3 hours that day to get the RV. I thought the water leak was just from the ac, but when we drove it to camp for the first time on July 7th, after a rain storm, water was dripping again. So we scheduled the service to get it looked at, along with 8 other things that should have been checked before we got it. And come to find out all those things are not covered under the warranty we bought, they are all "adjustments." I told the technician when I called to schedule the service I told him it was leaking from the roof and there was a hole, but he failed to document that. Then they were on the roof looking at another spot where we had water in the camper, and they still failed to find the holes. Now to me, if a customer says there is water leaking in after raining, you would check the entire roof. Now we got a call saying that we need a new $10,000 roof from hail damage. First off we have not had hail at our home since we bought the camper. Second the water leak has been there since day 1. Now you want us to turn it I to our insurance, which will affect our insurance rates, when the issue happened before you sold us the unit. So what kind of pre-delivery inspection was done? I found a hole in the roof rather quickly, I am not a "trained" technician. The water heater was still on bypass, not tested. It was completely full of sediment and the anode rod was completely dissolved, so it was not checked. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your camper.

  We took our rv in last week for a tire pressure check, loose toilet, windshield wiper issue, quote for hubcaps, and to look at possibly trade our rv in and/or an appraisal on the rv. We were told first they could replace a part on the toilet and that would fix our toilet issue. When we picked it up we were told that they didn’t have that part so they did what they could to keep it secure. They couldn’t fix the windshield wiper because it was a Mercedes issue. Not to mention they no longer change oil on them due to “ blowing the engine up.” When we asked about the quote for hubcaps, they laughed a little and said “oh this can’t be right, we found them online for about 1,800 and that’s from a Canadian Amazon.” After leaving and paying approximately $250. We take it down the road to another shop to have the oil changed and discover the toilet is crooked, and they didn’t check the tire pressure as they were all low, even though they charged us for checking it. The windshield wiper was a small part and was fixed for under $20 at the second shop we took it to. We were also charged $30 just to get a quote for hubcaps, and all they did was google it and give us a price they weren’t even sure about. We literally took our rv in paid $250 left getting absolutely nothing accomplished and a toilet that is now crooked.
