  Great service and great price. I was in and out in 30 minutes thanks to Rayn who checked oil, fixed my skid plate and checked everything else over. Thanks!

  They said they could do an alignment for me but when I showed up they said my tie rod was loose and that they wouldn't do the alignment without also replacing the front two tie rods. I just replaced them myself less than a couple months ago. Went home and shook the hell outta them and they weren't loose at all. We went to tandem to get the alignment done and they said the tie rods were perfectly fine. So this place wanted to charge me an extra $400 to replace my new tie rods. Don't go here. They will tack on things you don't need to make a quick buck. Not sure how they have such a high rating, I'm guessing people aren't aware they charge for unnecessary work.

  I went in for routine oil change. As I was pulling out had issue come up. Turned around and talked with Missi. She and the mechanics pulled it in and checked car out. Luckily they found the issue and repaired it same day. Was very thankful. They were all friendly and respectful.

  Not only did they adjust the price to something I could afford when they heard about the difficult situation my breakdown put me in, I noticed on the receipt they did extra work I wasnt even charged for just to make sure my vehicle was safe enough to be drivable again. They stayed late after closing to get me a diagnosis and quote and had everything taken care of in only a couple hours after getting the go ahead. They're probably the only reason I still have a working car.

  Don’t let their reply fool you - I emailed immediately and they haven’t followed up!! The only positive about this experience is that Lee is great. It's been six weeks since I went in for a routine oil change that they accidentally drained my transmission fluid instead. In working to diagnose that issue and complete a routine tire rotation, they also stripped multiple lug nuts on my tires. My car was driven on with transmission fluid missing, yet the store manager claimed "only a small amount was drained and there couldn't be damage from that and they filled it back to the proper level." After consulting other trusted mechanics, I was advised to have my car towed for an inspection. The store manager refused because "they drove it and nothing was wrong," so I made a complaint with customer service and the regional manager contacted me and said the store manager's behavior was unacceptable and they would "do whatever I wanted." I had the car towed to C&S in Waterloo, paid for by Brakes Plus, under the agreement that I would be refunded for the service I paid for at Brakes Plus and C&S' service bill would be covered as well. Upon inspection, C&S found more lug nuts that needed replacement and that my transmission was missing 5 quarts of fluid, which is almost half. I also had the oil change redone because I did not feel confident in any other part of my service from Brakes Plus. It has now been three weeks since the regional manager has last responded to me and he refuses to return my calls, even with multiple calls that I have made to customer service about my experience. I have not been refunded my Brakes Plus service and they only covered part of the bill at C&S, which left me with an over $300 charge that I have to pay if I want my car back on top of my $70 oil change charge from Brakes Plus. In my initial outreach to other mechanics, and from the diagnostic at C&S, transmission issues are hidden until they're not. Even if my car is driving fine today, it could break down in six months as a result of this error and there's no way to know until it happens. That now leaves me in a position to take the risk or decide to get a new vehicle to avoid possible failure in the future. Save yourself the time, money, and absolute headache and go somewhere else!
