This made me feel not valued as a customer and will not be returning to this part store again.

Recently, my driver's side brake light went out, so I stopped at another auto parts store to purchase a replacement bulb. Unfortunately, I was sold the wrong bulb and was repeatedly assured it was correct, despite my concerns. Since I live outside of town and was unfamiliar with changing a brake light myself, I didn't want to make the trip home only to discover the bulb was incorrect and have to drive all the way back. So I decided to stop at Advance Auto Parts for a second opinion. I brought in my vehicle information along with the bulb I had purchased elsewhere. The gentleman who assisted me was professional, courteous, and respectful from the moment I walked in. He quickly confirmed that I had indeed been sold the wrong bulb, helped me find the correct replacement, and then took the time to walk me through the process of changing it. Before I left the parking lot, my brake light was fixed and working properly. What started as a frustrating experience turned into a very positive one thanks to the exceptional service I received at Advance Auto Parts. It's rare to find employees who are willing to go the extra mile to help a customer, and that level of service deserves recognition. Because of this experience, Advance Auto Parts has earned my business, and I will gladly return for my future automotive needs. What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?
A traditional lead/acid car battery can range between $60-$120. The difference in cost comes from a variety of things, like the size of the vehicle or any special requirements needed from the battery, i.e. an increased resistant to cold or hot climates. HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
