  Oil change was fine. Staff did not put the valve stem covers back on after performing the tire pressure work. Be sure to check before you leave. Update: LOF contacted me and corrected the issue. As a result, I have updated my review. Their response was very good.

  First time here. The order taker was very friendly and led me through the process every step. I was directed to the bay and directed in. I waited in the lobby and enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee . At checkout I asked about future service and cost. The cashier answered my questions and I told her that I would be back next month for future service.

  Had the best experience today, first time at the Ankeny location & this was the best service I’ve ever had at an LOF! Jordan greeted me so kindly and has the sweetest smile. He offered me something to drink while I wait and made me some fire hot chocolate. Jermey was the best technician. He was very understanding that I couldn’t get everything done at once, and helped me out with what was best for me for today. The guy at the kiosk was super cool too. I really appreciate the whole staff honestly! I live in Ames but this is my new LOF spot 100%!! I will definitely be back for some more Jordan hot coco😆🙌🏾

  Visited LOF for a basic oil change 5-1-26. Was fairly quick. No complaints at first. They had pulled out my engine air filter and showed me that it was fairly dirty and needed replaced. I decided not to pay to have them replace it and change it myself. Yesterday 5-4-26, I went to replace it. Went to take the cap cover off to get to the filter and the cap was snapped. The cap no longer attaches as it should. When they went to open it the other day they snapped the hooks to hold the cover in place and just left it. Thought I was being efficient and doing it myself, but found out now I not only have to replace the filter but also have to contact the car company to see how to get a new piece. What a joke. Something that is designed to be quick and easy turned into more of a headache.

  First time oil change. Asked if I had a coupon, I handed it to the technician and was asked if I needed a receipt. I was not told the new total after applying the coupon. I was glad I had a receipt because I noticed that the coupon was not properly applied resulting in an extra $50 over charge. I went back to the store and mentioned to the technician and she said I had a sticker in my window and that I was wrong. I said the sticker you handed me and I put on the window in your presence. She realized her mistake and said that I should get a refund on the next week or two
