Van # 21397- I was traveling the interstate through Fort Dodge, IA. I had my cruise set to 68 in a 65 just to keep passing along and also stay out of other people’s way… and just as I was about to pass this guy driving van 21397, I guess he thought it would be a good idea to just slide his van right in front of me into the left lane. I immediately had to move over left and hit my brakes so I wouldn’t rear end him. Then instead of passing the semi that he cut me off to get out from behind of last minute, he proceeds to drive more than 30 miles in front of me and line of cars behind me without letting anyone pass or even attempt to pass the semi. I don’t know if he was on his phone or what, but he NEVER reached the actual speed limit while in the left lane. He just hung out in the left lane completely oblivious to anything going on around him while his speed fluctuated between 58 and 63 mph. I know that because he made it impossible for me to use my cruise control any further which flared the arthritis in my legs and back to no end. Not to mention I was almost late to my appointment because the ride took almost 10 min longer than necessary. He finally got back in the right lane just at the Fort Dodge exit that he proceeded to take. Absolutely NO ONE in front of him the whole time. Please mandate whoever this driver is to take a safe driving course before you let him back out on the interstates. Thanks. I am happy to share my dash cam footage if anyone wants it. I may even just post the video on line as well. Thanks van 21397.

I've been waiting on an appointment "between 8 and noon" and it's currently 1145 and I've heard nothing from anyone. I missed work for this... thank you for costing me a days pay and eating my time. I will never refer anyone to this company.

I have had nothing but horrible experiences the last 3 weeks with Safelite. I made an appointment to have my rock chip repaired, but when I showed up at the appointment time, they told me they didn’t have time to see me because they were running behind. This was after I drove 30 min each way to get there. I made an appointment a couple of days later, but when I showed up, they said they didn’t have me down for an appointment even though I had a text message and email confirming it. They said they transferred my appointment to Glass Doctors. So, I drove there but they DID NOT have an appointment for me. I ended up making a third appointment for the mobile team to come to me. My allotted appointment time was 8-12. I work nights, so stayed up after work to give them my keys. Nobody came, and I received a call at 12:10
saying the technician was running late. I attempted to cancel my appointment but they said a technician was in the area. The technician did not arrive until 4:00. He stated he “repaired” the chip, but while doing so, ended up causing about a 6” crack to the side. Later that afternoon, it had also cracked up and to the side about 16”.
I will now have to replace the windshield. It would have been perfectly fine if I would have left it alone. They had horrible customer service each time and no answer for compensating me for their mistake. The first photo was the chip and the second photo is after they “repaired” it.

Not a thing to complain about. Good communication. Everything went exactly as it should. No glitche's. Prompt. Efficient. Pricing exactly what they said it would be. Came to my work and put in a new windshield right in the parking lot. Pleasant and easy.
