  I had a very great experience this morning getting my oil changed. Super courteous and friendly technicians! They explained everything and were just great.

  I’m disappointed that the Ames location is no longer providing the plus service, express only. I was a loyal plus service customer and now am not sure what differentiates LOF from Walmart’s much cheaper service.

  Pretty fair pricing and the service is really good. Never had an issue with the work, they show you the oil level before and after and they’ve got a camera that shows a live feed while your oil is getting changed. Good operation, if you live nearby check the mail for coupons

  Took my car in yesterday for a routine oil change, i was going to have a long drive this weekend to a family member’s funeral and decided to be responsible and get this out of the way beforehand. The kid performing the oil change took a really long time to find where my car’s oil was after messing with stuff under the hood. then they couldn’t reset my car’s oil service light after the oil change since their tablets haven’t been updated in six months. I get back home (only took three minutes since i live just up the street), and notice that green liquid is dripping from my car now. This has never happened before. I take it back, and at the drive thru service kiosk they tell me that it’s coolant and there’s nothing they can help me with because they “couldn’t have touched my radiator” during my oil change and to go bother a different auto shop about it instead. The service person was very rude about this and told me they hoped i have “better luck” and giggled. I’m now going to miss the funeral since my car is overheating after their botched oil change. I’m never getting service here ever again.
