I do not recommend this shop to other truck drivers. I came in to replace a damaged mud flap and mud flap holder. The quality of the work was extremely poor. They installed a cheap, low-quality mud flap, replaced only one mud flap holder while leaving the other side untouched, and still charged me $360. The biggest issue is that the new mud flap they installed tore apart in less than 24 hours of normal driving. That clearly shows the poor quality of the parts or the installation. The customer service was even more disappointing. The person at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. Before anyone had even looked at my broken mud flap, he confidently told me that it did not have a DOT reflective sticker. I don’t understand how someone can make that claim without even inspecting the part first. It gave me the impression that he was making assumptions instead of providing accurate information. To make matters worse, I was quoted one price before the work started, but the final bill was different. Customers deserve honest and transparent pricing before any work begins. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Poor workmanship, poor-quality parts, misleading pricing, and unprofessional customer service. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this shop to other drivers.

Iowa Truck and Trailer will get the job done correctly. You will not save any money over going to the dealership. According to A.I. I paid the same amount for the work performed that I would of paid at the dealership. The difference is Iowa Truck and Trailer did NOT do any unnecessary repairs on my dime like dealerships are notorious for. In that retrospect I guess you will save money over going to the dealership. Plus the Techs at Iowa Truck and Trailer are more knowledgeable than dealership Techs. The downside is the Techs end their day at 3:30 pm. So from 3:30 pm until 7 am the next morning no one will be working on your vehicle. Here is my story. I recently had a break down with my Kenworth in the area. I called Iowa Truck and Trailer and told them my situation. I knew it was my SCR wiring harness which I conveyed to them. They told me to come on by and they should be able to get me looked at in 2 hours. Within an hour and a half my truck was pulled into a bay. I told the tech my diagnosis and he agreed that the wiring harness was the problem. They removed the bad harness and had a new one sent overnight. The next day I was on the road again. The bill came to about $3,600.00.

WAY TOO OVERPRICED! All these reviews make sense now. They will screw you over, just find another shop that is reasonable. And they need to get someone that can reply to customer reviews with professionalism, look at how they reply to customers instead of trying to make it right or just respond professionally like a business would. Maybe I’ll get one too!
