  Great experience from check in to check out. Friendly staff, shuttle takes you straight to your car, mobile check in is extremely convenient. The car was in excellent condition and we had zero issues during our rental period of 8 days. The price was unbelievable for a luxury vehicle. I still do not understand how it was so cheap. I will be using SIXT for my future rentals without hesitation.

  This is my first time renting with Sixt. I was really impressed by the BMW X5, which is the best car I have driven. If, like me, you prefer to skip the counter you will find that is not an option at this location, even if you fill out all necessary information on the app, which was my only dissatisfying experience. Everything else went smoothly, and I was very satisfied.

  Beware of Lloyd at returns at total scam artist The check in was great The shuttle driver awesome 👌 Lloyd at returns had a phone camera and then circled a scratch and took a picture saying THIS WONT BE ADDED to your claim...just for documentation for future rentals....I in retrospect foolishly trusted him We had a picture (thankfully) that we took on delivery showing the scratch 😀 So due to this fraud on Lloyd's part we are now stuck communicating with Sixt proving pre existing damage. Hopefully Lloyd is the problem and not Sixt trying to make $ on the same scratch This marred an otherwise good experience Buyer beware..... take photos and don't trust Lloyd

  We were in town on a cruise and the Sixt location was very easy to get to by Uber from the port. We barely had to wait for the keys, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We also got a nice upgrade and a great car thanks to our Sixt Platinum status. Returning the car was quick and easy as well. The real highlight, though, was the lady at the counter when we returned the car. We were running late getting back to the ship, and my phone had died, so we were a little stuck. She went way above and beyond and actually drove us to the port so we could make it back to our ship. I really wish I had gotten her name because she absolutely deserves recognition. That was exceptional customer service and something we won't forget. Thank you to the Sixt team for taking such good care of us. We will definitely use Sixt again!

  Great experience — professional, honest, and incredibly helpful during a difficult situation! We arrived on Kauai on September 7, right before Hurricane Lowell hit. The rental company we had originally booked with, NU Rentals, completely ghosted us, so at the last minute I was able to book a compact car through the Sixt website. We took the Sixt shuttle from the airport, and it was only a quick five-minute ride to the rental location. When we arrived, the Sixt staff were concerned about us driving a compact car during the hurricane, especially since we needed to make it all the way to Princeville. They generously upgraded us to an SUV, which gave us much more peace of mind and helped us get to Princeville safely. We had originally booked the car for eight days, but because of the hurricane damage and widespread power outages, we ended up leaving Kauai early and returned the car after only three days. I was worried we would still be charged for the full reservation or face an early-return penalty. Once power was restored at the Sixt location, Vonda was able to adjust our rental to charge us for only the three days we actually used the vehicle, with no penalty. I am extremely impressed and grateful for how Vonda and the Sixt staff handled such an unfortunate and stressful situation. They were fair, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to care about our safety rather than simply making a sale. I highly recommend Sixt at Lihue Airport if you're looking for honest, reliable, and professional service. After the experience we had with our original rental company, the difference was night and day. Thank you, Vonda and the Sixt team!
