- LBLisa BongiovanniJul 27, 20265.0Trusting a shop with a car problem you can't diagnose yourself is stressful, and it's hard to know whether the service being recommended is what you actually need. I can say with complete confidence that Roland is a gem: the work he performed was exactly what was needed, it totally solved the problem, and at no point did I feel upsold. I visited his shop on a referral from another local shop (shout out RNS), and I could not be more impressed. He was the only shop (out of four) to actually put my car on the rack and showed me the problem, so when it came time to decide the course of action, I had all the knowledge. He ordered the part, kept in contact with me on when it arrived, was flexible about scheduling, and worked to get the repair done while I waited since I don't have another car. When he started the repair, it turned out to need more than we originally thought (and he was clear up front this might be the case). He was more than generous to complete the second repair for a very affordable price, all the while showing me exactly what the issue was. This is the kind of honesty in auto repair you only dream of. Roland is a remarkable human being.
