  This is our third rental in a year in Kona, HI. It was quick, easy and a pleasant experience. The counter people were fun and super helpful. I’ll never rent from any other company.

  I like the car rental layout here. It did involve a shuttle, but it was short. The vibe is peter laid back and the staff quickly had us into our car and we were on our way in no time.

  Long time Enterprise car renter - other than a couple of locations that need efficiency upgrades it is always a good experience and Kona airport was a very good experience -with prebooking online we were in and out in literally about 60 seconds both at pickup up and drop off. Nice Malibu car. Fair price. All great!

  Most of the Enterprise team members I interacted with during both pickup and drop-off were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the shuttle driver who dropped us at the airport on August 4th between approximately 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. completely overshadowed an otherwise positive experience. I was traveling with my 7-year-old daughter, my 70-year-old mother, my 70-year-old mother-in-law, and my wife, all with luggage. I had my family board first, expecting the driver would assist them with their bags. Instead, he remained in the shuttle. I stepped in to place the luggage near the steps, where he reluctantly took it from there. When it came to my own bags, however, he refused to help and, in a confrontational tone, told me, he wasn't going to help me with my bags. I initially chalked it up to poor customer service and decided not to argue. However, when we arrived at the terminal, the situation escalated. I immediately got up to unload my own luggage to avoid any further interaction. As I reached for my bags, the driver abruptly grabbed them from me, brought them down himself, and then stood staring at me in a way that felt intimidating, as though he was trying to provoke a confrontation. He's a pretty big and imposing guy. He again stated, in an aggressive tone, that he didn't have to help me with my bags. I was with my wife, child, and two elderly family members, so I had no interest in engaging. We simply gathered our belongings and left as quickly as possible. I've rented from Enterprise many times over the years and have always had positive experiences. This was the first time I've ever encountered an employee who behaved this way. The issue wasn't that he didn't want to help with luggage—it was the unnecessarily hostile and confrontational manner in which he treated a customer traveling with family. It was an unacceptable experience and one I hope Enterprise takes seriously.
