The physical store and staff is better than any service you get through autozone.com, but it's apparent that most of their staff is burnt out. I've never been there and waited in line less than 20 minutes, even as the only person in the store. Most of the time, they'll avoid making eye contact to ensure they don't have to help you. Even still, I'd go to Autozone before the nearby O'Reilleys any day of the week.

So… today my car battery died while driving on the highway after I finished work, and I had to be towed all the way to town. Took the battery to autozone and the associate, Nera, was very sympathetic to my troubles. She quickly tested my battery and determined no cranking amps left, and set me up with a replacement. I was all pissed off and tired from dealing with all this, but her smile, laugh, and fast service really turned my mood around. Mahalo Nera. Can’t thank you enough

I had a very impolite experience. I walked in to the store and needed to pick up a coil. There was no other customers in the store and the guy says I need to finish up with this other guy that was outside. So I waited and the cashier says to another store associate, "this guy (me) I told him three times already that he has to wait and I guess he can't wait". He was very rude, almost like he was on drugs or something. I was waiting very nicely and almost walked out. The cashiers name was Jason.
