I had an excellent experience with Alamo Kona Airport. The service was very good, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout. They offered me a great upgrade option at a reasonable price, which I appreciated. There were no lines, making the process quick and smooth. The selection of Jeeps available was impressive, and the car I received was almost brand new in perfect condition. The manager was especially helpful in setting up Apple CarPlay for me, which made my trip even easier. Overall, Alamo Kona Airport is an excellent choice with very nice people providing top-notch service.
We had an overall good experience. Getting the vehicle was quick, it worked well and the staff was friendly. My only suggestion is be sure customers understand the prepay fuel charge correctly because I did not and ended up returning the Jeep at 3/4 and essentially lost $80.

The rental process was quick and all the workers were very kind and friendly. The complimentary upgrade was a great surprise. Car was clean and ran smoothly.

以前コナ空港で別のレンタカー会社を使用した際、車内はベタベタと汚く、手続きも時間がかかったのですが、こちらはそんなこともなく、もしまたハワイ島に来れる機会があればこちらでレンタカーを借りたいです。

Professional scammers. Please be careful with this company! They will try to upsell you at the counter, and if you say no, they will still sneak it into the charges. I was charged an unauthorized "Roadside Plus" for $48.93 and a fee for "Damage Waiver" of $244.93! When I explicitly said no to them at the counter. I called them to ask for my money back, and they refused to provide a refund. I learned this is a common occurrence with this unethical company. Not only that, but the Jeep I rented was dirty.
These people know exactly what they are doing. They act like you asked for the protection to double their money. What responsible driver would pay double the original price of a car rental? I expect a business to operate with integrity, but I've been drastically disappointed. Why would you ruin your reputation to make an extra dollar? It's not worth it!
Update: After escalating my concern, the regional manager reached out and processed a full refund for the Damage Waiver. I appreciate that they made it right. Raising my rating to 3 stars for the resolution, but I'd still encourage anyone renting here to review every line of your contract before signing.
