  Incredible experience here immediately following a disaster at Hertz. Katrina saved our vacation single handedly by getting us a car at a fair rate. Would absolutely come back and rent from SIXT. Thank you Katrina.

  My family and I rented a BMW 430i convertible car for just 24 hours. I was really excited after seeing reviews and knowing about the car. Before even going to the office, you can't even find the store where you pay since Google Maps takes you into a garage. We finally found it and the man at the counter was helpful and made the process to pay very fast. We got the car and it was really nice. However, there were several scratches all over the back seats which kind of concerned me. Either way, we enjoyed the car, opened the roof, and relaxed. After a few minutes, we found a little roach in the car. We didn't think of it that much, but it soon didn't end well. After several minutes and hours, we felt small bugs crawling all over our legs and some medium size cockaroaches on the sides of the car. We weren't scared of it but it was not a pleasant feeling at all. Moreover we parked the car and decided to look in the trunk, we didn't find anything, but we found 3 Pepsi Cans which was really interesting. Finally, we returned the car earlier and we were extremely disappointed. I know I'm making a big deal about bugs in a car, but it's extremely dangerous because if a bug is on your head or arm while driving, it can cause accidents. A lesson for SIXT is to make sure that they check every car for any weird objects or unusual activity before letting a customer rent the car. Update: They refunded 1/3 of our money.

  I originally gave 5 stars but my turn in was unbelievable. After having a great experience at the Honolulu airport location I chose this location for convenience and cheaper rates. When picking the vehicle up I had to ask a the associate to come out and notate damages that she assured me didn’t need to be notated since I had a zero deductible insurance. Then after 28 days I returned the car to valet who assured me this was the correct process, and the following day my invoice reflected a late turn in and excess mileage charges. So I contacted customer service and the level one associate transferred me to a miserable, disrespectful level 2 associate who ultimately hung up on me. After calling back I spoke to another kind level one associate who transferred me to another competent and respectful level 2 associate who confirmed my return time and fixed the excess mileage charge. I didn’t call to get a free handout but to rectify an issue caused by carelessness at the branch. If you have to rent here be sure to notate damages prior before, and request a live check in at return to avoid the extra headache.

  We rented a car it was easy, and the good thing about this company is that you have until 23 a clock night to return the car. One star less for high prices even if its same as other rental locations, should be much less, car for a day shouldnt cost so much to rent. What I think should be included in the price is to be able to leave the car at their airport office or when renting from airport to be able to leave it on their waikiki place
