  I’ve used Safelite in several states and have always been satisfied, hence being a return customer. Unfortunately, that changed today. The poor customer service and rude, arrogant demeanor of the technician were extremely disappointing. As a representative of the company, you are an ambassador for the brand, and today’s interaction fell well below the standard I’ve come to expect. As a business owner, I understand the importance of customer service and professionalism. Sadly, Safelite lost a longtime customer today.

  The windshield replacement was fine. However, I paid the additional cost for the water repellent treatment. First rain and absolutely now water shedding. I’ve used different products for water repelling and can tell that my new windshield wasn’t treated. Now I’ll have to take it in to be serviced which is really inconvenient. I’ll probably just buy something and do it myself. This makes me wonder if anything else was skipped during the install. No leaks yet but only time will tell.

  Tech was on time, called before coming and when he was on his way, even gave his eta but there is a tracker that i got in their text so that's a plus too. The tech was professional avec i love that he gave me some tips if my windshield was to to ever get chipped again. Also he informed me that my vehicle has 2 glasses so only the front was chipped. That was good to know.

  The technicians were very professional, courteous, and punctual. They called ahead of time, arrived as scheduled, and provided excellent service from start to finish. Their communication and punctuality made the entire experience easy and stress-free. I truly appreciated their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work. They did an outstanding job, and I’m very grateful for the care and service they provided.

  This was one of the most poorly installed windshield I have ever experienced. (1) 6/11/2026 The windshield is not OEM as most are not, however the one that was installed had ripples in the glass. They agreed to replace the windshield. (2) The tech that came ripped off the moldings on both sides of the windshield. When we drove the car at 40 mph, the moldings flew off because the tabs were broken and not replaced with new ones. The tech also broke the right-side molding which needed to be replaced. We are still waiting for the replacement. (3) The tech failed to secure the wipers and when we tried to use them, the passenger side windshield wiper did not move. (4) About three weeks after the repair, the windshield wipers totally broke apart and flew onto the freeway. We had taken the "premium" level" repair which had included new wipers. Fortunately, we kept our old wipers which was still working and put those back on. (5) We scheduled another appointment to fix the problems noted above for 6/18/2026. This was cancelled by them and rescheduled for7/2/2026 which again was cancelled until 7/9/2026. (6) The new tech replaced the tabs and installed the molding. We are still waiting for the replacement molding on the right side. (7) 7/27/2026 another rock hit the windshield and cause a large crack. This time I took it to our local repair shop and had them do the replacement. The work was done very quickly and I was able to pick up my car within a few hours. There were no issues after I picked the car up and drove it on the freeway. I am not able to recommend Safelite based on the experience with them. They are a large national company and according to the local manager, they cannot discount some of the damages that were caused during the windshield replacement.
