  Experienced bad service during pickup, as an Executive status member. Booked through third party OTA for late-night pickup. Pickup was fast but I was not given any prompts about insurance and they were all automatically marked as declined. I eventually had to drive to my hotel super slow, and then drive back to the airport the next morning to add insurances. Such a waste of time and effort.

  This rental was very smooth. I was able to pick up the car hours earlier than the agreed time, they let me switch cars right there at the rental lot to one that had a more child friendly car seat attachment, which was huge win for my family! The car itself ran great, I did run into an issue where the trunk wouldn’t open, none of the Valet folks could get it open either. I’m guessing that was a Jeep software issue with the Wagoneer because after a few hours it worked fine. Returning the car worked fine and most importantly to me is the price I was quoted is what I paid. I have had other rental companies show you one price, but by the time you get the car and return it they’d added several fees and taxes they didn’t show at first. With this rental, the upfront cost they showed me is what I paid. Definitely recommend and will use again!

  After a very long day of delayed travels we went to pick up the rental car went straight to the parking garage and was greeted by a friendly welcoming rental agent I wish I got her name but she was so rent filled with aloha and made what was the worst travel day turn around with her smile and friendliness she made it fast and easy showed us where our car was located. Thank you for that !! Check out gate was easy and also another great employee Trent made it simple to drive off asked and he even gave as some awesome information and recommendations for the island. I appreciate the workers there as they make everything fast, easy 💯

  After all of my years of using and making national my go to car rental company. I was totally disappointed with the condition of my latest rental from national at HNL airport. The vehicle was side mirrors was dirty and couldn't see out of them. I personally had go and cleaned them and the rear back widow so that I could see clearly out of. I was also promised a free car rental by national after my rental at the Atlanta airport. The assured me that it would be document in my file and that would be able to use that gift and thst there wasn't a time limit to speak of. During that visit the Atlanta area was having very dangerous rain and thunder storms. When I left the airport it began raining heavily. Once I turned on the wipers the blades for damage so bad until I couldn't see the road. I had to leave the rental at my family's house so that I could make my sister's funeral. This was very disappointing and frustrating to say the least. Ones I laid my sister to rest and return to the airport and explained that situation to the agent he assured me that I would have a free rental the next time that rented a vehicle. I explained that to the agent in Honolulu he basically said there's nothing he could do for me. This is why I'm baffled as well as disappointed with a company I trust and have sent many customers and bragging how your great you're.   Service was good, the vehicle its self had so many issues that I would recommend it staying in service. Definitely made me realize to never buy a Mazda! The trunk would never fully close and would reopen on its own if initiated. The driving was nice my the electronics was not to par, almost return this for another vehicle as the touch screen, well not sure if it was touch because it never worked, made things difficult driving for the navigation of phone applications and music as you were obligated to use the turn knob feature on the center console. The return service was amazing and fast. Pickup from this location wasn’t so bad either. Don’t follow Waze directions, pay attentions to the local signs to return.
