The process was seamless. I arrived on a holiday weekend expecting a crowd and fearing a wait time before getting my reserved vehicle class. I arrived at 1030p and there was no wait and my vehicle was ready. The staff was friendly at 1030p and they even provided an upgrade. I'm very satisfied and would recommend enterprise Honolulu airport to families traveling and wanting a worry free experience. Mahalo Honolulu airport enterprise!

Transportation from airport departures to Hawaii Enterprise Rental area was simple and well identified. Since we checked in via the app we were able to go straight to the lot.
Returning was just as simple and the route well identified. They even found a cable I had forgotten.
Another plus was a bathroom located next to the vehicle return.
Very courteous employees, well identified route and a bathroom, I can't ask for anything more. Thank you Enterprise!!

The Chrysler minivan we rented was unsafe with front-end damage, every turn made a grinding sound and when I reported it to ERAC I was advised i could bring it back to the airport (25 miles one way) I guess over $100/day doesn't get you what it used to.
I use Enterprise whenever I need to rent a car but was disappointed with this experience by receiving a car with obvious mechanical issues.

Waited about 20 minutes in line to check in. That part was fine. Go upstairs to get the car and are told to wait again, this time for another 15-20 minutes. Eventually we are told that they don’t have the SUV that we reserved currently available so we can either wait another 15 minutes and see if one shows up, or take a minivan “over there” that the employee vaguely pointed to. Sure, whatever, big enough for our group still and we can get out of there sooner. Of course, as we walk up to the van another group starts getting into it. So apparently they must’ve told someone else to just take a van. We see another van towards the end of the garage so we end up taking that one so we can leave without walking all the way back to try to find an employee again.
Very disappointed in this experience from Enterprise. I get that HNL is probably one of the busier locations, but it was a Tuesday afternoon and it seemed like they were already running very far behind on turning over their vehicles. We had a much smoother and friendlier experience last time renting from Alamo which is supposed to the budget brand. Next time we will just save the money. Two stars saved by actually having a car and car seat for us.

Getting from the arrival area/baggage claim to the vehicle rental pickup location was a bit of a trip in itself. Vehicle was ready, but pickup was a bit unusual. Attendant simply pointed me to the vehicle and said keys are in it. No walk around, no making sure I knew how the vehicle operated etc. that I am accustomed to with pickup in the mainland. Not a huge deal, I thought it was due to having everything done online. It probably should have been a red flag, but Fortunately I read some online reviews about issues with damage claims by this location so I had already added the enterprise coverage to make sure I had nothing to deal with if they claimed I damaged their vehicle. Sure enough, when I turned the vehicle in, almost immediately the attendant asked if I hit anything, I said no, and he asked if I had an photos from pickup, which I should have taken I suppose but no I did not. There was a scuff on the front bumper so I would have known if I did anything to cause that. To be clear however, I did valet the car a few times and didn't notice anything. You had to really look to see this scuff. He starts in on the we are going to be filing a claim, I'll be charged, yada yada. I stop him and tell him I purchased the enterprise protection and he stops and says oh, ok, well your all set then. SMH. I get protecting your vehicles, but it really seems like this enterprise location is all about charging people for damage they didn't do. I have to wonder how many people have been charged for that same scuff. Be warned, if they don't do a walk around with you, do it yourself and take lots of photos if you rent at the Oahu airport location. Any location for that matter.
